“How do countries around the world, encourage marriage and family life?”
As I’ve noted before, the problem is the WOMEN, and it’s not that the women are bad or selfish, but rather they’re making rational choices, based on the conditions in which they live.
Before the Sexual Revolution, women had VERY FEW options to ‘leave the house’. They could be nurses, elementary school teachers, secretaries and a few other jobs. College was a rare thing for them and so they could hang out in the house and do nothing, or they could produce. So they produced.
So, now there are two options for Western countries: Either turn back the clock to the pre-Sexual Revolution days, or make having kids a competitive career choice, and that means money, big money, for having kids.
Otherwise, then yes, it’s over for Western society.
Just look at North Korea. They have decided to reject modernity. Their birth rate is 1.82. Kinda low but still high compared to USA and especially South Korea which is now at 0.84.
