Doesn't sound good. The problem as I see it is that we have no way of knowing about this guy. In these types of cases about all you can do is wait and see what comes of it.

Bill Clinton according to all reports was warned about possible terrorist attacks against this country, but did ignore them. He did nothing about the attack on the USS Cole, which should have been called and act of war.
But to say that the entire government of the US, and President Bush all knew about it and did nothing, or that they should all apologize sounds very much like the liberal representative woman whose name escapes me.
The role of government is to provide for the defense, and this adminstration is doing that very thing IMHO. Our President seems focused on weeding out the terrorists to me, and I will never believe he knew in advance and just said, "heck, let em come and blow up our citizens." No way.

Well, hindsight is 20/20. It wouldn't surprise me to find out that threats were dismissed because they seemed far-fetched. Hopefully September 11 has changed the policy regarding which threats are taken seriously.

The fact is that this clown Vreeland sounds like a common crook who has created a smokescreen of intrigue around himself in order to excuse his ill gotten gains.
Hook him up to a lie detector test....if he passes or fails, throw him in prison and let the ladyboys have at him.
Where would FREEREPUBLIC.COM be without a conspiracy theory behind every major event in the news?

Or a spook on every conspiracy thread.

Whoever moved this thread, give me a freakin' break. I'm going to request every thread regarding OKC, Waco, and Clinton scandals also be moved to the General Forum. This sucks!
To: Sir Gawain
Hmmm, he wants UN protection? The guy is is a nut. Is this conspiracy theory the new democratic talking point?

Scary. William Gibson would be proud.

Who is Delmart Edward Joseph Michael Vreeland II? I'll guess that he's comedy-sensation "Carrottop".

You may want to check out
this interview from a few days ago where Vreeland explains, among many other things, that those arrests were entered into the system to establish a plausible cover -- good luck finding the actual paper records of arrest. Did you miss the part of this story where Vreeland's identity was established in a call from open court in Canada to the Pentagon?
