This is not a vanity. It appeared as a news report by a named individual on a published site. Such sources could be scurrilous, but seems unlikely in this case, Still, not a vanity. A vanity would be an opinion you decide to post as an article giving you unsolicited advice to JR on how he should run his site, as an example. Reporting a fact of general interest if you were an eyewitness is a legitimate news report and also not a vanity. Being a vanity sort of starts with vain and connotes something trifling, a small matter of no consequence to anyone except you.

They won’t stop until they meet a forceful response. The grunt in me cringes when I see their protests are always in the same spot, they bunch up, and act impervious.
I would advise everyone to stay far away from them. Classical groups like Provo IRA, the VC, the cartels in Columbia. or even the original Jews fighting the British in Israel etc would find these clowns a laughably easy target. Someone is sure to get that idea. You wouldn’t catch me standing with Miles I was easy target like those guys. I remain amazed nothing has happened to them yet and retribution. There are families out there whose family members are hostages still, some had family members raped to death, I was almost sure to be somebody out there who feels like they don’t have much to lose.
Alan Dershowitz said he will represent any Jewish student hurt in these 'protest' for free. And when he announced that other lawyers he knows called and offered to work for free too. Someone needs to let this young women know she's not alone.
CNN reporter tonight said the protest was peaceful. I kid you not. I turned it on for a few min to see if there were other camera directions.
