Calling crude names and hooting over icky practices is not throwing someone off a building. So glad you pointed that out. Pejorative behavior has degrees. Wow.

I don’t believe it’s equal, attacking his agenda and pointing out his speech or actions, versus mocking his possible sex practices. I don’t think ANYTHING he has said or done is properly answered by gay slurs.

As earlier noted, most of the gay razzing here is shorthand for "this candidacy is a non-starter because (insert 2,000 words re how sexual immorality ruins nations HERE)".

People are fed up with how the universities, media, the establishment and the Deep State are forcing this upon us. Stupid humor is a coping device for traditional Americans who are being politically oppressed by in-your-face disrespect and silenced by fascist regulations such as the ones we are concerned Buttigieg would increasingly foist on us, for example that bill circulating in the House right now that would literally cancel the First Amendment in favor of gays never having their feelings hurt.

Seems like, for your own reasons, you are identifying with Pete and taking 50 shades of sarcasm personally. If a comment is truly disturbing, you can flag it. Otherwise, it's the same obnoxious verbal jousting over any and all personal characteristics we all were surrounded by in middle school—braces, zits, skinny, fat, gay, etc—yet survived.
