in texas, so i guess it will still be warm then. I wonder why the rain date/alternate date isn’t the week after or the 11th?

The alternate day has always been the last Sunday in October. We changed it a few years ago at our parish. Besides there is the Pasadena rodeo, the air show and the Texans game this weekend. You know how people can be. It works better for us anyway because it’s not quite as hot.

Last year the turn out was about 250, mostly because of the hurricane. Our biggest problem is getting the Protestant churches to participate. We have people calling Churches this year instead of just mailing letters.
