Northview Heights, Pa. -- A 15-year-old was shot dead by police after they say he pulled a gun on officers following a home invasion. Police said they've now made an arrest in connection with the case.
Police arrested 20-year-old Brandon Rouse Thursday, charging him with working with Jerome Williams on the crimes.
Williams was shot and killed by police Monday after they say he fired at officers.
Channel 4 Action News did some digging through a criminal complaint and found the shooting was the end to a day of crime.
According to the complaint, Williams was suspected of a carjacking Monday morning.
Hours later, police said Williams, Rouse and another actor committed a home invasion at gunpoint on Mount Pleasant Road.
Minutes later, they are accused of robbing a woman of her purse and cash.
momma wants to know why her "good boy" is dead, grandpa wants to know where junior got a gun, never heard a word about dad.
Listen to the video, it appears that the community organizers are calling in fake 911 calls to lure police into ambushes.
Go figure, this was probably the most work jerome did in his life and it killed him.
Northview Heights is a housing project, indicative of where we'll all be in obama's America.
Ping.
Well .. of course.
Everyone knows that the AMISH are very close with their family members.
He was probably on the honor role also.
:-)
So sad. I’m sure that he was just turning his life around too. If he was a good boy, then the carjacking, the armed robbery, the robbery in the home, and trying to shoot a police officer were probably just isolated incidents. Imagine all the time he must have spent that day helping the less fortunate when he wasn’t committing a violent felony!
Alternatively, the sad part is that more violent criminals don’t end up this way - it would save the state a whole lot of money and save their potential victims a whole lot of grief. Concealed carry would be the answer to the vast majority of our crime problem.
The upside is that if you have an astute prosecutor they may be able to get the other 2 for felony murder, in PA it’s life, no parole.
The lad, so sad.
I don’t know how many astute prosecutors we have in Allegheny County, but the police don’t like to be shot at around here, so they can expect a pretty long sentence even if its not life.
The gangsters who did a driveby at the Squirrel Hill police station a few years back got 150 year sentences.
Probably a talented musician and romantic crooner, too;)
I remember when that happened but not the judicial result.
Apparently had just gotten out of juvie.

There is a great tradition of tough prosecutors in Allegheny County.
Go Corbett!
Please. It will be a cold day in hell before Pittsburgh — let alone the rest of America — looks like Northview Heights. I’ve been there..have you? In my view, Pittsburgh’s police chief — who is black — should have made some inroads years ago in Northview Heights, which has been plagued by violence for at least 15 to 20 years. The previous police chief should have worked at this at well.At least they are bringing extra cops in now.
They couldn't go in without police escort.
It's a third world country, it will not change as long as the occupants see the police and the rest of civilized society as the enemy.
This is obama's vision of the socialist utopia, where the hated Whitey lives in equal misery and gubmint dependency with his those he has been "keepin' down".
