Ukraine detained two agents in Kyiv’s equivalent to the Secret Service over allegedly plotting with the Russians to assassinate President Volodymyr Zelensky.
Two colonels in Ukraine’s State Protection Department, which is tasked with guarding the lives of the president and other high-ranking government officials, have been arrested for an alleged attempt to assassinate President Zelensky in conjunction with Russia’s FSB, the successor to the Soviet Union’s KGB, it is claimed1.
According to the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU), the Russian intelligence agency was tasked with finding potential traitors within Zelensky’s security detail who could take him hostage and ultimately kill the president. The two colonels face life in prison if convicted.

The coordinates of the house where the official was supposed to be were to be used to launch a missile strike. Then, they were going to attack the people who remained at the site of the attack with a drone. After that, the Russians planned to hit with another missile, including to destroy the traces of the drone,” the SBU added.”
Sounds ridiculous. If they wanted to do it, they do it and not need to make it so complicated.
***Mr.Z is responsible for a lot of death and destruction, a lot of peoples children being drafted, and many do not see him as some action hero leader in olive drab.

IMHO, even many in Ukraine are fed up with him.
The elite in the West love him, he's our boy after all.
We put him in power and keep him there.
We own this sovereign leader which does our bidding, this leader of a democratic nation, which canceled their elections indefinitely. Many similarities with St Z, his Nazis and Hitler….any historian can see them….
the attempts on Hitler increased drastically when the German citizens realized what Hitler was doing to them…..
….St Z ends up hanging upside down from a lamppost OR he flees to one of his ill gotten mansions….in either case- good riddance.

I have a theory about why that is so. They are high enough up the food chain to marshal authority and resources but low enough not to be a lick spittle part of the political system and; they will never rise above colonel because they are not wired to be just a lick spittle.

Sounds more like an internal military coup to me.
Ukes say they were recruited by the russkies. Isn’t that an admission their own high ranking officers have, at least, divided loyalty? Also, ‘external foreign recruitment’ is really the only spin the Ukes could make given its their own soldiers’ plot, so without proof, its almost certainly bullsh*t.
