her chant was, 'inspections, not war'. btw, rumsfeld was totally unfazed, and noted that a) she couldn't make her protest in iraq b) it was iraq, not the us, who threw the inspectors out

Yes, but it took forever and they were yammering at the top of their lungs about "Inspections Not War" and "It's all about OIL" the whole time. And ripping off their shirts, to show the antiwar-message T-shirts they were wearing underneath (for half a second I was afraid we were all going to see Medea's boobies).

The MC or whoever it was then quipped "We'll put them down as 'undecided'" and the whole room cracked up.

Makes me feel great that a potential assassin could probably get just as close as a professional disruptor.

My thoughts also. Had one of the disruptors had the intent and skills, they could have 'snapped the neck' of those sitting in front of them in seconds. Troubling to me also.

There's a group out there that "pies" its targets, and they've gotten heads of state and CEOs. If they get that close while carrying an aluminum pie plate and can of whipped cream, I don't know if any security can stop the truly motivated.

She was a DNC guest with reserved seating. Did you see the smile on the guard who escourted them out. Their signs were on heavy canvas and to large to conseal. This incident bears a lot oof looking into. I expect our media is delveing into it right now.
