Any man who defines his core existence by his desire to copulate with other men is a sick, sick puppy.

Gays are mutants huh ? How compassionately conservative you are. I suppose in the 60's you would have called the Civil Rights Act scraping the bottom of the barrel by appealing to the nigg... How compassionate and conservative indeed !

So what your saying Scott is that anyone should be able to take advantage of the family even if they are not what we would normally call a family. So if Joe and Bill want to live together in a civil union they should get medical insurance from Bill's employer. Now that looks compassionate all right Scott, of course the other employees would have to pay a higher premium for this joyous union.

But I want to know how compassionate you really are. Would you let Abdul and his seven wives partners and their 58 kids be allowed to claim to be a "civil union" and be covered by Abdul's employer's insurance policy?

You don't just have to go to the Bible to show that civilized society is opposed to Sodomites:

"Homosexual conduct is, and has been, considered abhorrent, immoral, detestable, a crime against nature, and a violation of the laws of nature and of nature's God upon which this Nation and our laws are predicated. Such conduct violates both the criminal and civil laws of this State and is destructive to a basic building block of society -- the family." ---- Chief Justice Moore of the Alabama Supreme Court in a decision denying custody of children to a lesbian mother.

The Corpus Juris Civilis is the sixth-century encyclopedic collection of Roman laws made under the sponsorship of Emperor Justinian. "It is Justinian's collection which served as the basis of canon law (the law of the Christian Church) and civil law (both European and English)." (9) The following is a statement in Law French from Corpus Juris: "'Sodomie est crime de majeste vers le Roy Celestre,' and [is] translated in a footnote as 'Sodomy is high treason against the King of Heaven.' At common law 'sodomy' and the phrase 'infamous crime against nature' were often used interchangeably."

"Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it [is] abomination." (KJV) Leviticus 18:22

"If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood [shall be] upon them."(KJV) Leviticus 20:13

"Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived; neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor homosexuals, nor thieves, nor the covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers, will inherit the kingdom of God." 1 Corinthians 6:9-10 (NASB)

"There shall be no whore of the daughters of Israel, nor a sodomite of the sons of Israel." (KJV) Deuteronomy 23:17

No matter how much society appears to change, the law on this subject has remained steadfast from the earliest history of the law, and that law is and must be our law today. The common law designates homosexuality as an inherent evil... ---- Chief Justice Moore of the Alabama Supreme Court in a decision denying custody of children to a lesbian mother.

"The Constitution does not confer a fundamental right upon homosexuals to engage in sodomy. None of the fundamental rights announced in this Court's prior cases involving family relationships, marriage, or procreation bear any resemblance to the right asserted in this case. And any claim that those cases stand for the proposition that any kind of private sexual conduct between consenting adults is constitutionally insulated from state proscription is unsupportable. " The United States Supreme Court in BOWERS v. HARDWICK, 478 U.S. 186 (1986) 478 U.S. 186

Nice post, but all human rights are not delineated by the US constitution. I guess since the constitution doesn't list it as a right the government can tell me what I must have for breakfast tomorrow.

LOL! The fact that you can't even spell has nothing whatsoever to do with the fact that your false-morality is so discredited.

I have no interest in engaging you. I have pinned you down with your fanatical, facist positions regarding your position that the government should enforce your definition of morality, the 10 commandments, and whatever you happen to think is evil. You have stumbled more than once and refused to answer questions. Now you are making idiotic comments because your position has been exposed. I don't care to hear you again in reply to my posts.

I guess the fact that we voted against this means nothing to Davis.

Correct you are, absolutly nothing!

He did not listen on Prop 187 or 209 either.

He did not listen a year ahead of his energy crisis.

It's all about him, doncha know.

** The Supermen **

The AIDS plague has created sympathy for homosexuals. They are using their retribution to get pity, to gain societal acceptance.

"Oh, you want us to die!"

But it's not true. No one wants to see unneeded suffering. They went out, and murdered each other. Rather than realize this, that immorality brings death, they blame society.

Rather than say:
"Oh, we made a terrible mistake. We made our own bed, and now we must lie in it,"

They say:
"We are a third gender, a higher gender. We are the source of civilization. We are the font of civilization. We are superior to men and women. Our lives are more valuable than everyone else's."

So they feel justified in grabbing an enormous amount of the public budget. Heart disease and cancer combined account for some 5 million deaths each year. Yet, the health research budget for AIDS is equal to heart disease and cancer combined. Yet, they still want more money. The only explanation: They think they're supermen, a higher being.

Look at what they call women: COWS.
Look at what they call men: BREEDERS.

That's how they soothe their guilt. They think they're superior beings, the font of civilization.

There's all kinds of sins: fraud, theft, all kinds of cruelties. They're not the worst form of sinners, but it's right up there, with murder.

The superior gender, the supermen, the higher beings. There's a name for it: homofascists.

The San Francisco School Board, confronted by 300 shouting "gays," cower and pass whatever program they want. That's how Nazism started.

Simple. It's called energizing the base.

Unfortunately it's something that President Bush has forgotten how to do (don't get me *started* on 245i or the Mexico visit, Israel, ad infinitum).

I'm sorry you must have misunderstood. Gays are not mutants and they are not a race. They are perverts and belong in prison. Condemning them is the most compassionate thing we can do because accepting them only encourages their distructive lifestyle.

Davis and his staff are in the process of selecting people to serve on the 12- to 15- member panel that could meet as early as next summer. Davis became aware of the importance of this issue and instructed his staff to begin working on it after consulting with Miss Cleo, who he relies on to divine important issues that will help him to get re-elected for another term as Governor in California.

I am establishing a task force to review what Vermont has done to find out if any of those measures are applicable to California, Davis told the BAR in an interview last week. "This is a relatively new concept. Vermont is the only place which adopted it."

Prop. 22 was specific designed to prevent a Vermont-style law from passing and/or for California to be required to recognize other state same-sex marriages.

Obviously, Davis doesn't care about the voters and what we passed by nearly 62%.
