"to save California's hospital trauma centers, some of which are going under. "
Maybe he should consider, instead, a "Wetback Tax", and tax the illegals who have jammed California's hospital emergency rooms and do not pay. Because they are illegals, they have a hard time getting health insurance. When they so much as have a cold, they use emergency rooms because the ER cannot turn them away.

Authentic? It looks it.

Smuggling ammo to California may soon be a very lucrative business.

Aren't there some US laws about interfereing with interstate commerce? If that was true, why is it that ammoman.com can't ship to Alaska, New Jersey and Hawaii? It seems that laws in those states do not violate the interstate commerce laws. Or possibly the Ashcroft Justice Department doesn't consider such violations worth pursuing.
Believe me it definitely can happen in California.

So Pistol-Packin' Perata gets a concealed carry permit to protect himself from those evil gun-nuts, but the peasants can't get one to protect ourselves from society's predators. Interesting. The ruling elite strike again.

Thanks! What a hypocrite! Guns for the Lords only, to protect them from the wrath of the peasants.

Buy it soon, because .50s will be reclassifed as dangerous destructive devices in the near future, count on it.
Of course under the new classification, old .50s will need to be registered. If you don't, they will catch you through sales records (anyone who thinks the BATF is not doing this already, I have a bridge to sell you) and you will get a mandatory minimum federal prison term, no plea bargaining, no parole.
BLOAT, cache, and take names!

You miss the point of the five cent tax: it will not remain at five cents for more than one year, and it will go up and up and up.
The true purpose is twofold: to eventually price ammunition out of existance, and make felons out of anyone who evades the law.

Is that number 141 legit?

They won't even discuss the millions of illegals in Kali, that subject is verboten lest you be called a racist hater.
To: Rudder
Smuggling ammo to Kali will be against the law. Count on a mandatory minimum jail term per contraband bullet.

Thanks, look for my book to be finished sometime this summer.
To: Travis McGee
Just got off work.

Exactly, but several posters on this thread suggested they might go into business importing untaxed ammo into Kali. Bad move.
To: Travis McGee
Take it down to Mexico and smuggle it across the border inside illegals, they don't seem to be able to stop them!
Of course, the down side is retrieving it!

We will be retrieving any ammo smuggled across the border by Mexican illegals at a velocity a bit too high for comfort.
