Davis to reveal how he'll hack to balance budget
Shortfall could soar to as much as $22 billion
-San Francisco Chronicle

Greg Lucas, Lynda Gledhill
Sacramento -- After shockingly low state tax receipts in April, Gov. Gray Davis today will reveal his plan for erasing a cash gap estimated to be as high as $22 billion. Unlike in years of good budget news, the governor and his aides have kept ...

Davis spokesman Roger Salazar said the governor -- like it or not -- has to raise funds to get his message out in California.
His Message:

I will gladly pay you tomorrow for a campaign contribution today.

"Those of us who know Gray, and I've known him well for 15 years, know he works day and night," Read said.
The question though is what is he working towards? If good things, then BZ. If CYA, well, that's another story.

I heard about this some months ago on Hugh Hewitt or some other CA talker. Amazing. Nice to see the Chronicle is still pumping these out.

Ernest & others-definitely pingable...

Davis has to learn that State revenues don't increase in proportion to his campaign war chest.

How the heck is he going to control the budget if he keeps on handing out 25% pay increases?

Davis is SHAMELESS! He is corrupt and doesn't care about anything. He flitters around from crisis to crisis without a care in the world except raising campaign cash. He needs to be in PRISON, not in public office!

Dump Davis!

Thanks for this thread.

This was in this article: BIG RAISE FOR CHP This year, CHP officers received a lucrative new contract with the Davis administration that could give officers raises of as much as 25 percent.

Since Grayout became the fascist leader of Kaliland, I have not seen a single trucker pulled over for speeding in N. Kaliland by a CHP officer.

If you drive on any freeway in N. Kali that has a top speed for autos of 65 or 70 and a top speed for trucks of 55, you will never see a speeding trucker pulled over since Herr Davis became our governor.

You can drive in the right/slow lane at 65 or 70 and have truckers running up and mating their front license plate with your rear license plate. Some will even honk their horns and flash their lights if you dare to only do the speed limit on the express ways in the slow right lane.

CHP's will come on the express ways go past a herd of speeding trucks which don't even bother to slow down. All are going 65 to ? in 55 areas.

The CHP's will weave around the speeding truckers to nail a citizen driving a suv, pickup or sedan. Of course anyone in a convertible or sports car doing 70 in a 65 zone is a prime target for being stopped.

How much have the truckers's unions given Fascist Davis to be able speed and kill innocent Californians on our expressways?
