Actually, I get weekly and often more updates from from the Simon campaign including very hard-hitting statements about Davis, fundraising, and the budget.
The press chooses to ignore him because they want to think he's irrelevant. We need to keep the word out.
It doesn't hurt Simon to be low profile right now ... let Davis continue to bury himself. Like he did with Riordan, he can come out as the reasonable alternative.
Boy, do I sincerely hope you're right! However, with memories of the limp Lungren and Dole campaigns, a candidate who seems content to lay low and let others talk worries me. Remember Him-Who-Cannot-Be-Named, and his instant-response teams, and how he was always front-and-center? Much as I despise what he represents, that's a very effective way to campaign. Invisibility worries me. Recent precedents are not encouraging to me.
