This Assemblyman should get accolades!
Introduction:
Pascal Fervor is a human condition which we will investigate and, with the desire to nurture its continuance, celebrate. It's been named, in an honorable reference, for the verve, inquisitiveness, determination and loyalty that drove the seventeenth century mathematician, inventor, engineer, thinker, political critic and (many in our time would have you think this discrediting) deeply spiritual man, Blaise Pascal. In keeping with the commitment needed for this project, your host has adopted the name Pascal Fervor. Pray e will be worthy.
Pascal lived less than forty years. Still, he left a significant impact on the course of history. You will come to see that when one recalls the phrase "the pen is mightier than the sword," one could justly consider that the author had a someone like Pascal in mind.
It can be shown, and we intend to demonstrate, that Pascal was so effective in the long run that those who would rule the world today may wish he never existed. Why? Because he is your friend and their enemy. He shows you what one man can achieve against overwhelming odds. And how delightfully ironic that is! As the founder of the rules of probability, I doubt he would have given himself very good chances going in. He just did it.
Should you be afflicted with this fervor, and there are many more of you than you are supposed to think, this site is dedicated to you. That's the point.
When you are low, and think you are cursed, this site intends to remind you that, in you, the world had also been blessed. May it sustain you in your travails.
Thank you and welcome.
