A lawyer who played a key role in negotiating last week's $100 million sale of industrial South Bay salt ponds to the government for a wildlife refuge was publicly representing charitable foundations involved in the purchase -- and being paid by San Francisco International Airport at the same time.

Wow! My heading is swimming with that deja-vu sensation.

These stories on the Davis scandals are starting to become their own genre. Like cheap supermarket paperbacks all the plots are the same, it's just the names of the government officials and public agencies that change from story to story;

may raise new questions.....disavowed any link.....At the same time, they were being paid by.....officials insisted Thursday there was no hidden agenda to influence....``There is no linkage,'' .... Critics, however, called the arrangement a conflict of interest that calls into question ....... you have a lot of people lying .....t a cost estimated at $200 million.......Gov. Gray Davis and others have said repeatedly in recent days that there is no link......said they did not know ......``I had no idea,'' she said. ``I don't think it is OK. I'm disappointed.''...... requested copies of the law firm's invoices, airport officials sent them with many parts blacked out, citing attorney-client privilege......sent a letter to the airport resigning as consultants. They said they were worried about the appearance of a conflict of interest......``Do I see a conflict? No,''.....said he was unaware..... the state Senate formed a committee to hold hearings to scrutinize ..... I'm shocked by it.

We recently had some similiar so called wetland conversions in the North Bay. They carried the reek and vile odor of big enviral lawyers and elite envirals.

It will be interesting to see if there is any tie ins with our wetland conversions to this group of enviral elite fascist bandits.

"Has FR a scandal page on this idiot like the one on Bubba?"

That line just begs for some comeback quips:

"No, there's no sex, or sex appeal, in a Dim-bulb Davis page."

"We were going to do a Dim-bulb scandal page, but our last fundraiser to raise money for a big enough server was cancelled due to a conflict of interest."

"Dim-bulb already has a scandal page - the FRONT page of every California newspaper."

Well here is the tie in that I was wondering about in Dan's thread:

Airport officials said they hired Mantell's law firm, Resources Law Group, only to help the airport acquire land north of Vallejo for wetlands restoration.

Isn't this just peachy and fine. Doing it for the birds and the elite who contribute to and then get paid big sums by the enviral nazi elites.

Now my next question: How much money will ChiFi's rich boy toy husband, Blum, make off of these deals?

ChiFi was doing the old Rat two step Bravo Sierra Tango here with her comments re there was no problem, and it was all so innocent and for the snails, red legged frogs and the birds.

We need a Gray-out "scandal count" it needs to be hosted by an accountant to track losses to the taxpayer, and money raised for the dim-bulb.

My take on this is entirely different.

I think the airport should have build the dang runways. Period.

And I think the Salt Ponds should have been bought by some do-gooder foundation that likes making swamp land for birds, or whatever they want.

The fact that the salt company SOLD the ponds to California taxpayers who will have to pay hundreds of millions of dollars to turn them into swamp is the crime here.

Don't forget the cost of repaying the bonds for this purchase that the gullible voters get snookered into by the promise of "clean water and clean air".

``Do I see a conflict? No,'' said Steve Thompson, California director of the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service.

Look how the corrupt Federally jumps right in to cover the Envirograft Lowyer Mantell. Mantell is lifelong friend of commercial Whitewater rafting kingpin and former county supervisor Bill Center whose buddies in these parts are receiving huge grants from the very same foundation to buy land for rare and endangered plant preserves.(and block hydroelectric/water storage infrastructure projects that are 66% built when stopped)

The County and it's largest water district have been maneuvered into contributing taxpayer/ratepayer based contributions in order to get rights to water the rafting community is trying to control for rafting flows and to prevent its beneficial effect on our rural economy except for their "environmentally friendly industry!"

It's just one giant DemonicRat circle jerk!!!

The way to determine if Blum is involved is to find out if Catellus Development was an agent for the sale.
