It worked in the primary when everyone kept yelling at Simon to attack Riordan. He didn't do it early. He won by more than 18 pts. I'd stick with that strategy myself.
FYI: everyone (outside of politics like my liberal Republican mother) I have spoken to have disliked Davis' ads. I don't trust my own judgement because I despise the man, but I think they are weak.
