It is worse than conveyed even in this great article. As reported by a caller to George Putnam's radio program today, the 41 Democrats were not totally present to vote -- fraudulent votes were registered by someone pushing the voting buttons in the assembly chamber while some Dem. assemblymen were absent!

Leftist Stalinism for equally imposing legislation in California. Very symbolic for the entire country.

The egress of residents is great already. Only the immigrant invasion is keeping the population growth positive.

I choose to fight the clowns rather than cave-in to them.

Yep. Then the scramble was on to go out and dragoon some bodies to attach to those votes. The stealth campaign to get this passed in the face of fierce opposition is all the evidence we need as to its true intentions (the elimination of the SUV from California).

Can someone tell me why people continue to live in CA? Really - i just dont get it....

I still like it here, but it's becoming less attractive by the day. I don't know when I might reach the tipping point, but I can see that the day might come.

Just heard on the radio that Davis has said, "I strongly plan to sign it." There's a little room for manuever in that Clinton-speak statement, so let's hope the public pressure will get to him.

Oh, and just heard that John McCain is onboard with this bill. That guy has lost any tinge of Republicanism that he's retained up to now.

Eventually the state of California will simply collapse due to the stupidity of its politicians and populace. Before that happens, those people with any common sense will have departed the state. And so will the major companies and businesses of California. It's a damn shame but that's what socialism, wacky environmentalism and massive illegal immigration of a hostile population will do to a people and its government.

I watched some of the debate on this. The Republicans were just slammed and screwed. The democraps wouldn't even give them the courtesy of a one-day delay so they could notify their constituents (THAT'S US!!). The new speaker, Wesson, is a major creep from hell!!! Sometimes I just hate living in California. Don't count on "Gay" Davis vetoing it, either; he's into environmental whacko butt kissing. However, the Republicans are so pissed they may hang tight and REFUSE TO PASS THE BUDGET. It takes a two thirds majority. If the Republicans hang tough, they could send the State into financial chaos. Should be interesting. For victory & freedom!!!

Say, FReeper "Lager" who works for Assemblyman Mike Briggs says it is illegal for someone other than the Assembly Member to cast a vote on the Assembly floor. Why can't we protest the vote? They needed 41 votes to pass and they got just 41 aye votes. Did anyone actually witness illegal voting, I wonder? It's worth looking into, I think. For victory & freedom!!!

Oops! Just checked with someone in the Capitol. We can't protest the vote. Apparently, this happens all the time (someone voting for the Assembly Member); the Republicans have been known to do it, too. We can't go there. Rats!!

This is typical third world stuff. Robert Mugabe could work with these people!

Hey, why are any of you guys still there? Next they'll be coming around to confiscate your yards - give them to somebody else who votes right you know - and the factories, Davis will order them shut down to save on power.

Time to build the rice paddies on the mountainsides - you'all are gonna' need them!

Kind of makes you wonder who the Libs are going to suck dry once all the achievers have gone.

Can someone tell me why people continue to live in CA? Really - i just dont get it.... Went to lunch last Friday and heard Sen. Tom McClintok spokesman speak. Pop increase for AZ=54%, NV=45%, UT=38% (something like that) He said only wacky CA liberals could make those desert wastelands look attractive. He's right. My folks visited and can't believe I live here...but I got step-son whose dad is cop here, so I'm stuck a few more years...then I'm OUT !
