I've run numerous campaigns (locally) and know that people are far more receptive to messages delivered after Labor Day than before.

And that explains Davis's barrage of ads slamming Simon. I have news for you, the mud Davis is throwing is sticking. By labor day it will be too thick to chisel off.

Davis has pulled all his ads because his unapproval rating went from 51% to 57% while they ran.

Simon does have his work cut out for him, but not because Davis has fatally wounded him. Davis has far more problems than Simon.
