Kob .. Would ya believe that SiMon is sand-bagging and has some good ads in the can but is waiting to use them 'til more potential voters are paying attention? Plus what more can Davi$ unload on him? Ooops! I shouldn't have asked.

Oh Well, We shall see what we shall see! (Unless its tape delayed or pre-empted for a GraYouT infomercial)

No offense Norm, but this "sand-bagging" theory of yours is rediculous. As Simon's campaign founders and people being to perceive Davis as the winner (remember in politics perception is reality) people's wallets start to close up and this obviously has a negative impact on Simon's campaign.

If this is the strategy they are persuing than they are more incompetent than even I accused them of being.

Simon is fighting a two front battle. One against Davis and another against the bluebloods that have a strangle hold on the California GOP purse strings.

I would have agreed with you on this except last month Simon gave into Bush's demands that Bush people be put into the important positions in the Simon campaign. If Simon didn't agree to this Bush made it clear that no money would go Simon's way from the National GOP nor would Bush campaign on behalf of Simon in the coming weeks. In the end, Simon folded like the blue-blood his old man was. Yep, he sold out the grass-roots supporters (the people who got him nominated) to the country club Republicans that are leading our party to a catastrophic defeat this November.

Since Simon blew out their pet puppet Riorden, they've been miffed and refused to release money to Simon.

Please see above. Simon gave into Bush's demand and put in Bush cronies. Simon will hopefully get the money and be able to at least get some ads out before November.

If he does win (it will be a miracle with the lack of advertising I've been seeing), he should clean sweep out the management of the Calif. GOP. Then, maybe we may get some candidates that aren't transparent, hypocritical yes men.

Yes, if he does win and I hope he does, he should clean house, but he won't. The powers to be in the party would destroy him in a New York minute if he did clean house.

I live in the San Diego area and have yet to see anything about Simon as far as a campaign ad. He better win if Calif. is going to survive.

A number of us have major roots here in California. We own businesses and land. It isn't like we can just run away.

I for one would like to see you reclaim your state. We're seeing similar trends that occured in California occur in Texas and my home state of Florida. Slowly but surely, the rats are infecting certian counties and the voter registration is making a noticable swing from right to left.

We met with the Florida Freepers yesterday and a candidate for our congressional district against Bob ('Whiney Bastard') Wexler, a great gentleman by the name of Jack Merkel, and he said he was observing the same trends. Not a comforting thought. Once they soil their own nest they spread out like an infection to ruin your home.

As the whole world is pretty much involved in the Democrats love of the decimation of everything that identifies us as Americans, I fear it may take more than politics to stop them.

He might have polling that shows Davis is toast in the SD area. No sense spending money in that market if it is true.
