To achieve "the maximum feasible reduction" of carbon dioxide, they would have to ban the internal combustion engine.

Then electic engines, because you have to burn something to produce that electricity stored in those batteries.

So commuters will just have to ride bicycles.

But wait!

Breathing creates carbon dixide, too. I guess we'll just have to kill all the Californians.

And all those furrly little critters living there, too.
