We could cut through all this BS controversy if one of the talking heads (O'Reilly, Hannity, Matthews) would just volunteer to go without food and water for a week. They could report on LIVE TV just how they were feeling, so we could get a more accurate perspective of what Terri is going through. The best part would be when the 'euphoria' kicks in. The so called experts who say this is a painless death are just trying to justify something that is pure and simply evil. If the reason for doing this is ok because it won't cause her pain. Then is it ok to murder someone in there sleep if they can't feel it?

I have gone beyond appalled at this. I can't believe all the courts have turned there backs on this poor woman. I can't believe that the woman who gave birth to Terri is being denied the right to continue to care for her. My heart breaks for this family. And it breaks to see a nation that once was about life, liberty and the persute of happiness. Turn into nothing more than a killing field, where it is ok to kill the most vunerable of our society. The very people we are suppose to protect.

I've gone 24 hours without food on several occasions, and was profoundly hungry at that point.

All parties including the judge should be required to testify. Once Terri passes all records, including medical, can be subpoena by the Chairman of the investigation. Having been in just a training situation where water was rationed to less than a half pint a day for a week..... all I can say is it is not something anyone wants to go through.....ever. It hurts. It makes ya really sick. A sick feeling that you'll never forget.

These experts are both wrong. Dehydration deaths are indeed agonizingly painful while starvation deaths are indeed relatively painless.

If Terri were given water she would survive longer and wouldn't be in as much pain and discomfort. Neither way to die is as painless as hypothermia or drowning.

Liberals feel death by starvation is humane -- and I'm with them. Let's use this humane system of death on all the child rapist/killers on death row. Let's reciprocate the kindness they've offered Terri.
