Flash flood warning in Atlanta.

My weather alerts (Weather Bug, WGCL, WSB, WXIA) all kicked in on 'em...(it's unnerving to have Paul Ossman walk onto the screen)

We'll have some real problems if this thing turns North.

I am 30 miles north of the coast in south Mississippi, Picayune.I was here when Camille tore through here in '69. If there had been a web then, I would have hauled tail, rather than ride it out. I think Dennis is going to move right through Montgomery.

Really a fantastic place. Figure the tower is safe, but wow, there's a lot of vulnerable glass everywhere. Hope it all comes through unscathed.

Dear God!! That storm is HUGE. Is that the average size of a hurricane? I know we watched (and received) all the storms last year, being in Central Georgia. I don't remember them being this big. Ivan was the worst and we got the worst from that one.

My husband is in Mississippi. First time ever out there and this happens. I am scared

In Sarasota- cloudy skies all day with rain on and off.

The wind blew the welcome mat and trash can around, but the two cats like being out when it's raining and windy. They were also out for every storm that came through last year, if they don't get scared why should I?

But I sure hate to waste a Saturday night home alone...know anyone sponsoring hurricane parties tonight?

Hiya Eagle Eye, long time. I think most folks got a real wake up call after Ivan. We're all boarded up, just waiting now. Still not finished cleaning up here from Ivan. Now it looks like it will be stronger than Ivan. Gonna be a hoot !

Any word about Cuba on the CNN (Castro News Network, Clinton News Network and basically Communist News Network)?

Enjoy your debate and commentary on Fox. Keep up the great work!

Bradenton is close to Anna Maria isn't it?

Anna Maria is the barrier island for Bradenton.
