LOL!
You want a shower, just step outside.
Even my Labrador Retriever came back in. It was like somebody was standing upstairs tossing down bathtubs full of water.

(Since it keeps reappearing, I sure do wish that I'd SPELLED IT RIGHT!!!) LOL!!! That's okay, it just added to the charm of the post. It looked like you were so horrified by vinyl siding that you couldn't even see straight to spell it right, lol. `:-D

If I had to make a call, I'd say it tops out around 155-160 late tonight/tomorrow am. From there, I don't see it being able to sustain that till landfall. I'd put landfall just west of the MS/AL border at 145mph.

Camille was announced as a Cat 5 the day before it hit land. Are you sure? I seem to remember a story from just the last year or so where they upgraded the status of that storm to Cat 5.

yeah...
it would be very odd for a Hurricane to sustain an intensity of that for longer than 12 hours...
matter of fact, its odd that this storm has been able to intensify as quickly as it has....

Hey, it is even a key word now. That is hugh & series!

It is an amazing storm, looks like it might go down as one of the greats. Meant to type just EAST of the MS/AL border... been up too much the past 48 hrs. ;)

I always use the IMG height/width parameters when posting an img on FR. Even with a good broadband speed, when I click on a lengthy thread, the post I'm trying to read keeps bouncing off the screen because someone upthread didn't do that.
If they'd just post the width and height of the graphic they were posting, the rest of thread would load normally, even if their graphic was taking a long time to load.
To: STARWISE
an even greater view of everything, if you have broadband!

If it hits there at that speed there will not be anything left at orange beach and p-cola.
