Yeah, but if you sat down with piglosi you could get enough info out of her in 15 minutes to keep sinking their ship....

My own superficial take: Unlike Durbin et al, Boehner is manly un-PC movie-star handsome imo. LOL

I thought Buck did well - I’ve been following the race but this is the first time I’ve heard him speak - - I’d vote for him in a NY minute. Hey, I wonder if I can still vote in Denver ;-)

i can't help it, can you? Dan Gaffney to you - Nov 27 2007

I just read my story about the poor Choir Director and went to insure that I had those emails from Dan Gaffney that I described. Above is the subject and FROM line from just one of the gazillion emails he kept sending over and over and over. I'd asked him to please stop and above was his last as I finally changed my email addy.

Dan Gaffney was interviewed by Chris Matthews for his horrific interview of Christine O'Donnell where he called her names, asked if she was still a virgin...awful, awful thing. Dan Gaffney was all over the national news for his very proud evisceration of Christine O'Donnell.

Yet on election night he was announcing the results with great joy. Nothing wrong with a little ambition but what happened to our poor choir director is beyond sad.

Pay no attention to rodguy. Not only is it hot down there but their humidity is way too high. He also has alligators and bugs the size of Volkswagen’s to contend with. Let alone fish large enough to eat humans.

We are not below 40 at night, but close. Blankets were added to our beds this weekend. Our leaves are beginning to turn, but we’ll never have the harvest of colors you get there.

My Republican candidate is following the McCain campaign example, panic 3 weeks before the election when you had the winning economic ideas all along, but you don’t want to insult the wrong headed opponent

Wallace would think common sense conservative thinking like Mark Steyn’s is too extreme for his media job

Hey, I wonder if I can still vote in Denver ;-)

Don't know but you can probably access the Denver Election Commission to see if you're still listed.

Remember Peter Boyles run for Moffitt Tunnel Commissioner?  His motto was "Vote Early And Often."

Unfortunately, we’ve had a cooler than normal summer (after a mild winter and a fairly warm summer last year). It’s about 60 now (9:35 a.m.) probably won’t get too much warmer today. Indian summers up here are really nice.

A little off-topic WA tourism plug: Issaquah Salmon Days are next weekend. Issaquah (where I live) is a suburb of Seatlle and leans R. It’s in/near the foothills of the Cascades. They close down the streets in town for a big street fair (parade is on Saturday) and there are bands, lots of food, booths of stuff to buy, booths of orgs (including Reps & Dims) and the Salmon Hatchery is open for tours. They have small Salmon ladders (not nearly as large as the ones by the Locks off Puget Sound) and you can also watch the large Salmon swimming upstream (I always get a little sad seeing how battered they are, but have to remind myself and my little nephew that it is part of their natural cycle and God’s plan for them).

Who is the candidate?

Anyone who is following a McCain model is probably not a good candidate, IMHO.

I've seen those bugs (Oh no, those aren't cockroaches, they're "Palmetto Bugs")....Yeah right!

Hey Rodguy, I love gator-tail, fried or in "Swamp Gumbo" Mmmmmmm...mmmmm...mmmm! Got any good mail-order connections?

We are not below 40 at night, but close.

Sorry, I didn't mean right yet, and I was talking 40 below at night. I know it gets that cold on the Western Slope. 17 below as the high temp in dazzling sunlight.

I’ll check that out; however, unlike Dims, I wouldn’t feel right voting here and there. I’m in Dave Reichert’s district and he needs my vote, as does Dino Rossi. We really need to get rid of the dumbest and most liberal Senator, Patty Obama Mama Murray - - as in many other places, it will depend upon voter turnout. Much to my chagrin, this is the 1st election in which WA state is now all vote by mail, except for 1 district. I liked voting in person and I’m afraid this just opens it up to even more potential for voter fraud than we had previously, especially in King county.

All I know about your winter I got from reading Kenneth Robert's Arundel, about the Arnold expedition into Canada. After reading it, that is all I want to know.

“At one point after Bob had asked several questions, he told Bob, I see you have a list of the democrat talking points.”

This is what all the republicans need to throw back in their faces. Put MSM on the defensive rather than having to defend our point of view.

I vaguely recall seeing that picture. I’ve read that she’s fully aware of his ‘preferences’ and has been for a long time, but perhaps doesn’t mind so much as long as she gets what she wants (lavish trips to Spain, being 1st lady (even though it’s hard work, etc.). Reggie Love has been with him for quite some time - in Chicago and now in the WH, so one would think she would have a clue if the stories are correct.

Remember that woman (sorry, don’t recall her name right now) that he was purported to have an affair with and she moved to a Carribean isle and Michelle Ma Belle was supposed to be so angry - word has it that was just a cover up for Reggie or one or more other guys from Chicago.
