This MTP “debate” is a two on one affair. Gregory is just repeating Dem accusations against Buck, then questioning his answers. Then Gregory asks Bennett if he agrees with the charges. This is absurd, almost Kafkaesque political theater.

Meaghannnn McCain is a perfect pawn for the DBM.

They can use what is supposed to be one of us to talk trash about the tea party and everything of what a 27 years old does not understand and is ready to run her mouth about. christiannnnn I'm so poor got her to say how "extreme" we are and how only the more moderate voices will wind up being heard. Meghann is a true pawn/village idiot. It's easy to tell that her fathers rino ways are instilled in her as well, stupidity will do that.

But discretionary spending excluding DOD amounts to about 16% of the federal budget.

As a matter of fact, editing cheers is a propaganda technique. If they leave them in, it’s to convey popularity. Remember every second on TV is important.

Exactly the points that need to be made and expose the fraud for what it is and why it needs to be destroyed. We are paying for it w/20% unemployment.

'but they are entitlements insofar as beneficiaries are entitled to, and receiving, payouts far beyond the value that they paid in.'

This is true, so far as it goes. If SS had been invested in the stock market, it would not be.

Yeah I know. That's yet another story about this election. We need a Rush Limbaugh to teach each and every one of these candidates how to campaign conservative style can't believe the way some of them come off.

Our side has along way to go,we need a lot of polishing.

Claire -
we have passed tax cut after tax cut, many of those over Republican objections.

I guess I missed hearing about those and/or seeing extra $s on my paycheck.

She also said something to the effect of there are no centrists in the Republican party anymore. Whoa! There are far more centrists in the Pubbie party than there are in the Dim party, which has practically 0.

Chris is asking Senator Cornyn, where’s the compromise. Chrissy - how about asking Clara Belle and other Dims that.

I hope Bennet is as desperate as you portray him. It’s on now here and I’m waiting to see it. So far, DC Bob is trying to spin 0 and how great he is, including foreign money in campaigns

By all means, DC Bob, let’s investigate foreign donations, including 0’s money from two years ago.

Castle would have pulled a Murkowski, but it seemed to only effect the Democrat in a negative way, via the no endorsement crud.

My thoughts exactly.

Problem w/your calculation is nobody really knows how many are in play. When you have 3 Oregon seats that very well may switch, there is no way to guess how many are truly in play. These polls are worthless right now since there is no way to judge the intensity of the Tea Party. The number may be 150-200 are w/in the margins.

Pray for America

I loved the ‘tone’ used by Carly in replying to Wallace. She was practically saying ‘you stupid idiot.’

I know, I know, but it would force the moderator to either make the point himself or shut up.

I never said Bennett was desperate. Buck is now screwing up when asked how the Reps intend to pay for extending the Bush tax cuts accepting the premise that the federal budget pie is fixed. We had two tax cuts under JFK and Reagan that increased revenue. When the capital gains tax was reduced revenue went up. Why couldn't Buck have responded that way instead of saying we must cut spending to make up for the tax cuts?

On balance, Buck is getting his clock cleaned, not by Bennett, but by Gregory.

If true you were right to say Buck should not have agreed to appear. This race is close enough that I can certainly see the media trying to help Bennet as much as they can.
