Those 7,502 American heroes will be further dishonored by the Joker's regime as they are now putting forward the idea of leaving only 3,000 of the current 46,000 troops still in Iraq.

NBC/MSNBC,Foxs news.com,and the Chicago Trib. are only a few of the sources that suggest that 3,000 will be the number.

Top military officials accd. to FNC are reported to be livid at the number 3,000 since it was always tacitly agreed by knowledgeable insiders that at least 15,000 would be need to provide support, training etc. for the fledgling Iraqi military/police force to take over for us.

10,000 would be a bare minimum and really not enough but the suggested 3,000 may tell yet another story about the regimes political strategies at the expense of a war we have waged for years now at huge costs of both life, limb, resources etc. They are willing to put it all in jeopardy over any small possible political gain. Traitors at best,Manchurian invaders at worst.

Leaving only 3,000 troops also brings into play potential ties the regime may have to the Saudis, Iran and others who are invested in seeing all we have done to change Iraq see it fall into a deep quagmire such as now goes on in Syria,Libya,Egypt and other ares of the mid east.

Who is this clown and who is he really working for since its not us.

Normally I just ‘lurk’ on this thread but your post made my hair stand up on end. The marxist quoting that is sickening because he means it.

Anyone notice Obama pronounced “bow” in passage referencing bow and arrow as bow as in front of boat?

President Bush received applause before he began reading the letter from Abraham Lincoln to the widow in Mass. who lost 5 sons during the Civil War. He also rec’d applause after.

It warmed my heart.

God bless and keep President Bush and Laura.

Morning Son!

Last polling I saw for the Weiners old seat in NY shows the dem candidate losing 50/46. Even if its close in a hugely rat area it lets the world know what has happened to their party, and it ain't pretty.

When Zero read the words, “The God of Jacob,” there was sheer hatred in those vacant eyes of his. I swear, there’s nobody home on the other side of those eyes.

And he must have been furious that nobody cheered for him, but there were loving cheers (probably from the cops and firefighters) for President Bush. He wasn’t perfect by any means, but there’s a soul behind those eyes and a good heart. God bless you, President Bush.

More likely it would have gone into a dictatorship of some sort. At minimum, it would have accelerated the evolution into supremacy of the federal government over the states.

Give me a break. We would have suspended operations in Congress and had special elections and interim appointments. Life would go on and the Capitol building rebuilt. If anything, it would show that the federal government and the gas bags who inhabit the halls of Congress are not indispensable. The reality is that the bureaucrats are the ones who are really in charge.

A 9/11 type attack has not and will not turn the US into the Cherokee nation. We have lost Presidents and Congressmen before and the Republic still stands.

Just picked this up on Twitter.

In London, during the moment of silence for the dead in front of the American Embassy, militant Islamic demonstrators burned a US flag.

And on one Jihadist site, they have osted a picture of the WTC burning with the inscription “We have won the war.”

How’s that restart in foreign policy working?

I did notice....and thought the same thing! They cheered as the REAL President took the podium, and when he finished his reading. Did you think Obama looked annoyed to have to be reading scripture? I did.

One thing I do know for sure, the Saudis don't want to see Iraq turn into a quagmire or come under greater Iranian influence. The Saudis fear Iran more than any other country in the region. With a large Shi'a population in the Saudi's Eastern Province, the Saudis fear Iran both internationally and domestically.

If we drawdown to just 3,000, I fear for the lives of our people in the embassy and consulates and in the NGOs. Congress is shifting huge amounts of money to the State Department to build what amounts to its own army to defend our huge civilian presence in Iraq. It is insane and will cost American lives.

You better believe that Obama and Bloomberg noticed. Likely, they blame Bush or the people for the difference.

I know Bolton had an article attributing Obama’s foreign policy to disinterest and (my words) laziness, as well as not understanding how to wield presidential power.

I persoally think Bolton is in denial. It’s very difficult to admit that we have a president who is actively working against American interests, I guess.

I no longer think these decisions are through naivete, ignorance, or lack of organization.

I believe they are malicious and with an intended result, namely, reducing the US to a weak, second or third-tier power.
