The roster move the Eagles are expected to make Monday shot straight to the top of the publicity charts. A lot of people might have been Tebowing that it was not true, but it is. The Eagles are adding a Heisman Trophy winner to their crowded quarterback depth chart.
Oregon's Marcus Mariota remains a long shot to be in Eagles green after the NFL draft. Tim Tebow, on the other hand, will be on the practice fields at the NovaCare Complex after he signs a one-year deal with the team Monday. He'll be one of five quarterbacks on the roster, joining Sam Bradford, his former New York Jets teammate Mark Sanchez, Matt Barkley and G.J. Kinne.

I don’t know that the Iggles have the luxury of being choosers.
I see it too!
Might be signing him to be a camp arm. I think if Tebow wants to play in the NFL he should at least consider becoming a tight end or H back.
Yes we all wish to relive our college years, but some of us grow up. I just hope the Eagles are ready for the Circus that will happen when Tebow tries to play. The media will be there so I hope they are ready.
“The Eagles ... crowded quarterback depth chart.”
Yeah, it’s crowded alright: all of those rejects and retreads are piled up on top of each other at the bottom of the barrel. I’ve been wondering if Chip Kelly has a theory that if he gets enough half-assed quarterbacks they’ll somehow equal one good one.
Tebow gave us a crazy fun run during his Bronco days - we’d been bored and bummed for years and suddenly we were screaming and cheering and having a blast. He just may have a surprise or two left if given a chance. Give the guy a chance to play. JMHO.
Am I the only one who doesn’t have a clue as to this comment?
Excellent!
With the Eagles new style of offense under Chip Kelly, bringing Tebow in may be a very good thing.
Popcorn, please.
Isn’t it funny that the places where football is more religion than religions are, are generally the most Christian places in the country.
If most of them had to choose, which way do you think they’d go?
But that was a clear message that God doesn’t want the Jets to win.
Every time I try to walk away
Tebow makes me turn around and stay...
Why not give Tebow a second chance. I’m sure the right coach can help his awkward throwing style and foot work. Or try him a rb again.
Tebow has worked on his throwing, he went to the Eagles' spring training camp and apparently the coaches liked what they saw.
I don’t mind articles that reduce expectations for Tebow. I hope that they get so bad that if he ever gets a chance to play, if he completes one pass he’d exceed expectations! LOL!
The same idiots still think Geno Smith is an NFL quarterback.
and so it begins ... without Tebow having thrown his first pass ... sheesh ...
