Former President Trump accepted President Biden's offer to debate him on television in June and September.
The proposal was outlined by the Biden-Harris campaign in a letter to the bipartisan Commission on Presidential Debates on Wednesday morning.
It abandoned the decades-old tradition of three fall meetings organized by the debate commission.

Good point. Because this really is a surprise - Biden has the ego to think he can pull off a debate - but it’s likely a set up. Michelle has too much class to take the role but that old sleeze bag Hillary? I’m guessing it’ll be Hillary.
Will Trump be “allowed” by the “judge” in his NYC criminal case to prepare for and attend the June debate? FWIW, if not, I think Trump should do it anyway, and dare that moron to find or jail him. That would make a wonderful first amendment case, as well as a wonderful election interference charge for the judge later on.
Joe is not a sane person.. He’s liable to say and do anything.
If I were Trump, I would deand my on cameras, and also call out the never before seen restrictions of no audience, etc.
My suggestion is 4 topic per debate, agreed upon by both candidates. Monitors mike is shut off during both candidates response. Each candidate get a rebuttal. First one to mention Nazis loses the debate.

Trump did say, anytime, anyplace, so he had to go along with this otherwise he would look like a chicken. Either Biden thinks that Trump will be convicted by then or the Dems are hoping that this is how they take Biden out and replace him
Yes he’s chaos Inc. for their party and they haven’t much to select for his replacement all trained the same.
I don’t think it’s either of those (though Trump may get convicted at some point by the Stalinist court). They are setting this up so Biden can’t lose and will be able handle it enough that they “win” a draw. They will dictate all the conditions, the broadcast company, the moderators, the questions and the microphones. They will control the actual broadcast itself…to Biden’s benefit. They will make it impossible for Trump to function in a normal manner….through their control of the entire debate and broadcast, they can bring him down to Joe’s level.
Joe is going nowhere. They’ve chosen their front man, and they like him right where he is. They believe they can fool enough people, and demagogue and cheat enough to win. 90% of the time spent in these debates will be on abortion and all the many other lies Biden is putting out in his endless commercials.
If Trump has a way out of that, I’d love to see it. But they are setting him up.

It will not be “head-to-head”. Expect two separately aired venues where questions may or may not be posed from one against/to the other, but Biden is incapable of thinking on his feet (or in any other position for that matter.)
Anything Biden gets as a question will be scripted and answers videotaped and edit before presenting to some shill audience.
It is a joke to think that a classical debate will be had with Biden.

Of course its a set up but Trump did say anytime, anywhere so honestly when someone says that they have to agree to it..I could debate Biden TODAY, anywhere he wants, heck he can have Rachel Maddow moderate and I would still wipe the floor with Biden..Id ask one question “Why did you take showers with your 11 yr old daughter?” Simple question, watch how he responds
Of course you could, or anyone really could…if that question were allowed. But it wouldn’t be allowed. I could put together 9 bozos my age and we could beat the Dodgers…if I owned the umps and they’d do and allow only what I wanted…and I owned the camera operators and review technicians in the booth.
I guess my only real point is that like the rest of the election, the debates aren’t real and there is no way an outcome will be allowed that doesn’t have Biden walking away with victory.
There should be NO moderators, let them talk..both of them, just go at it til they are done I think that is best, all moderators do is put in their own bias
Is there any technology that can jam the signal going from Biden’s handlers to his earpiece?
