Victor Davis Hanson: “The Biden Reelection Strategy”
American Greatness ^ | 16 May, 2024 | Victor Davis Hanson

Posted on 05/16/2024 4:40:35 AM PDT by MtnClimber

Bidenites believe they can reelect an unhealthy, unpopular, and unsuccessful president by any means necessary. And they may be right.

Joe Biden polls at or below 40 percent approval. Historically, such unpopularity has made it almost impossible for a president to be reelected.

His age advances by the hour. His voice falters, his memory fades, and his gait is reduced to short steps, with his arms, winglike and in tandem, offering balance.

Biden is not so much an octogenarian as an unhealthy and prematurely aging 80-year-old. It is America’s irony that he is fit for almost no other job in the country other than President, which apparently allows for a 3-day-a-week ceremonial role while others in the shadows run the country.

So how does Biden become renominated and reelected, as polls show he is behind in almost every critical swing state on nearly every issue?

Answer: not by campaigning, not by championing his record, and especially not by doubling down on his neo-socialist and now unpopular agendas.

Instead, his campaign is focused on four other strategies to beat Donald Trump.

First, left-wing local, state, and federal prosecutors are tying Trump up in court on crimes that have never been seen before and will never be again after the election. All the cases are politically motivated, with many coordinated with the White House.

Even if Trump is not convicted by blue-state prosecutors, in blue-state courtrooms, in front of blue-state juries, he will lose critical campaigning time.

Trump may end up paying out $1 billion in legal fees and fines. At 76, the monotonous days in court are designed to destroy him financially, physically, and mentally.

Biden and his operatives know that, in the long term, they may have fatally damaged the American legal system with such judicial sabotage..

The title should be “The Biden Reelection Strategy”. I hope the mod can edit or delete the post.

We need judicial reform.
We need election reform.
We need civil service reform.

We have a ruling class which is openly working against the Constitution and depriving We The People of the government we ought to have. “Taxation without representation”? I don’t think we have any real representation on any topic.

We need an Article V Constitutional Convention.

“And they[democrats] may be right.”

And Victor Davis Hanson’s conclusion may be right, but only if Americans turn out to be the most stupid voters in world history.

Do you see anything in your daily life that would give evidence of any other possibility?

They don't care, as long as they maintain power.

His age, his voice, his memory, his gait, his CRIMINALITY continues. American “justice” will never recover.

FJB, his enablers, his operatives, his lackeys, his goons, his family.

And if they think none of these strategies will work, they may go further with a deniable cutout.

The left is power-mad. Biden was a tool.

The fact that the left is not concerned with Biden’s low poll numbers tells us one of two things:

1) The fix is in via ballot harvesting

2) The deck is stacked to engineer a collapse under Trump

In a discussion on another thread, I opined that Trump is making a mistake if he agrees to "debate" Biden on CNN, with no audience, because they will simply cut the debate and paste it together in such a way that it will somehow display Biden getting the better of Trump.

It won't matter if it resembles the Biden Ad challenging Trump to a debate where they squeezed six cuts into a 14 second video.

It won't matter if people watch the entire thing and record it, posting the key parts to unequivocally counter the Leftist lies on it and favorable editing. They simply don't care.

They will let us protest, and will distribute the edited video to other news organizations who will happily make it available as the truth to their viewers.

The Left has done the calculus that they control the media, they control education, they control entertainment, and they control the "fact check" industry, and they fully understand that they can continue to lie even as we yell at the top of our lungs and post unedited material to disprove their lies and deception.

They have decided that Americans are still "stupid" enough to fall for it. We won't, but there are a huge number of Americans who still get their news from the Alphabet News, and still view the "fact check" industry as something evenhanded.

I used to have more faith in the American electorate, but I am less sanguine about that body now than I used to be.

Bottom line, with the factors mentioned above along with the cheating that the Left will still attempt and accomplish, their defeat is anything but certain.

That is quality stuff. Biden’s gaffes, and even his record, probably don’t really matter all that much. The election is about “mean tweets” and feelings and cheating. It doesn’t matter that Biden screws up facts all the time (or just makes things up), his supporters are fueled entirely by emotion; facts don’t matter. There aren’t really that many of them, so they just cheated last time. Because they suffered no consequences from said cheating, they will probably just do it again. Will the Trump team be ready for the cheating this time? That is the question.

.......we have seen Biden stumble and plod the WH lawn, fall up and down plane stairs, get lost on a 3’ podium, babble, slur his words, tell weird stories about cannibals...... underscoring that Biden is a mentally impaired, doddering, old coot — which was affirmed by Special Counsel Hur.

So Special Counsel Robert K. Hur must now be “surprised” that Biden-—who Hur said a jury would perceive as “a sympathetic, well-meaning, elderly man with a poor memory,” and thus be unlikely to convict -——is an aggressive eager debater, even meticulously setting the debate terms, appealing to voters who are anxious to reelect “an elderly man w/ a poor memory.”

Reference: Hur was appointed January 2023 by AG Garland to conduct the investigation of Biden into possible unauthorized removal and retention of classified documents at the U of Penn Biden Center for Diplomacy and Global Engagement and in the garage of the Wilmington, Del private residence of Joe Biden, as well as several other places........all easily accessible to influence-peddler Hunter Biden.

Joe finished his “kindly old man w/ faulty memory” act (to escape jail for mishandling classifieds).

Now Joenothing is into his “I’m a trusted beacon of Democrat leadership” reelection act.

Must be almost time for his “resurrect my dead war hero son” act, a proven vote-getter any moron in Delaware can tell ya.

"by any means necessary"

Let that soak in for a while.. That means hook or crook, no holds bared, whatever it takes... If we think in was "right in our face" last time, we ain't seen nothing yet.. And why not, no one did anything to stop it so, let the games begin.! (spit)

Re-election?

SNORT.

The POTATUS wasn’t elected the first time around.

He was installed after a coup.

Deep State plans a redux.

And high tech is the only way to steal a landslide.

Yes but, we don't need VDH or anyone else to tell us what we can discern on our own. Only people whose minds are captured by communistic rot can't figure this out.

Biden: I’m going to re-elect myself

Press: Like you did the first time?

Biden: I have to wear Depends this time.

Press: A pant full will gain you the sympathy vote.

Biden: I have to growl when debating Trump. I’m a mean, cage fighter...

Press: Depends?

Biden: I fought Corn Pop in a cage fight. It was vicious. He came at me with a chain and a knife.

Press: Oh?

Biden: And I clocked him with my Billy Jack kick.

Press: Doing the same with Trump?

Biden: Depends...
