We have a ruling class which is openly working against the Constitution and depriving We The People of the government we ought to have. “Taxation without representation”? I don’t think we have any real representation on any topic.

When things are this corrupt, civilizations either a) can’t verse the trend and thus slide into decadence and decline, or b) have a revolution. It’s still unclear which fork in the road we’ll take.
