The dog is probably smarter than the average California or Florida voter.
If this guy was a registered DemonRat, this would be getting blown off.

To: Catspaw
Yeah, but in dog years, he is 63 which is a prime target for DEMOSTUPIDs. They problem thought he was a seasoned citizen.

Interesting story! This doesn't surprise me, coming from the Heart of Liberaland, though. California is a communist state, after all...

I'm thinking that democrats can only register reptiles, flesh-eating plants, and vermin, though there may be others...
To: Oldeconomybuyer
What's the problem? Democrats have been doing this for decades.
In Chicago we say, "Vote early and vote often." And you don't even have to be alive!

I don't understand why all the fuss about a republican putting a dog on the ballot is coming up.
New York already elected a bi*ch as a democratic Senator.

To: Oldeconomybuyer

But Barnabas received a jury summons, and now Miller, a 78-year-old retired iron worker, has some explaining to do. Miller has some explaining to do? Bull Sh*t.
The the state and federal governments have some explaining to do. Why would they develope a system where anyone, even a dog can get registered.
This guy should be given an award, another citizen makes a complete mockery of the government.

Proves the old adage that when man registers dog, it's news.
When dog registers man, no one notices.

"He should not make his point in this manner," said Candy Lopez, the county's assistant registrar. At which point a real reporter would ask, "OK Ms. Lopez, how should he make his point?"

What I want to know is...how did he vote in the last few elections?
To: Oldeconomybuyer
Donald Miller and several hundreds of others, both democratic and republicans have registered their pets over the years. Mr. Miller is right in that just about anyone can be registered to vote. Bill Clinton and Al Gore opened the floodgates in CA during their last election for illegal immigrants to be made legal in order to vote on the democratic ticket. Gore moved the INS onto the front lines and told them what to do...if they wanted to keep their jobs. This is somewhere in the archives of Alamo Gal's encyclopedia of the Clinton years. And the 'drive in' vote, a very easy way to mislead. The Republican absentee ballots were almost too late to be returned by mail however the Democratic absentee ballots were sent out on time in our city. If it had not been for angry phone calls to the Election Office (run by a Democrat) they most likely would have been held until
it was too late!
Right on Mr. Miller!
