Gay bashing attacks is what I was referring to. They are a reality. But they are not nearly as common as the press and gay activists would like us to believe. As far as "slash attacks" go, I would think they have happened.

But I think these hoaxes are far more common that the real thing.

The girl's story turned out to be bogus. The press utterly abandoned it two days after it broke. If this were real, the girl's name would be thrown around like Matt Shepard's.
