No.

It established "Judicial Review".

Judges have since tried, unfortunately with some success, to enlarge upon the ruling to establish "Judicial Supremacy".


Are only stupid and dishonest people criticizing the Patriot Act?

I think there are intelligent, honest criticisisms to be made of it. Why post these lying screeds?

The article may have errors, but overall, the issue is an important one.

This act is horrendous, and its passage has made America a police state. Only President Bush's morals and consciousness prevented it from being fully implemented.

When you have actually read the act and understand its implications, you may criticize those who are against it. Until then, calling people names merely reflects your own ignorance.
