The following is partial a list of false accusations and outright lies that Palestinian Authority officials have publicly made against Israel in the past days:
* Accused Israel of murdering a priest; the Vatican later apologized to Israel for such reports.
* Said that the Arabs inside Bethlehem's Church of the Nativity are not terrorists, but only local Christians fearing Israeli forces. Hassan Abdel Rahman, the PLO's representative to the U.S., said on CNN, "They are hiding in a church, hoping that they will be protected because the experience of the Palestinians so far in other cities like in Ramallah and Jenin and Kalkilye, they were massacred en masse by the Israelis..." No such massacres have been reported anywhere.
* He continued, "The priests invited the people to come and hide." In fact, the priests are being held hostage by the armed terrorists. Franciscan monk Johannes Simon said the Palestinians entered violently by shooting off locks on the basilica door.
* P.A. officials said that the documents confiscated from Arafat's compound in Ramallah, detailing his involvement in suicide bombings and terrorism, are fraudulent forgeries - when in fact Israel has put on public display clear documentation of senior Palestinian involvement in terrorism. In one document, Arafat personally authorized payment to senior terrorist commanders of the Tanzim and Force 17 organizations who commanded attacks such as the shooting at a Bar Mitzvah reception in Hadera. In another document, Arafat's financial officer received requests for funds for bomb components carried by suicide bombers.

HonestReporting.Com takes CNN and other networks to task for giving equal time to PA spokesmen who have consistently propagated lies of the above nature.
Consequently, there is no religious restraint on lying in Islam. Almost every falsehood can be made to fit into these categories. Basically the only immoral lies are defamatory lies told by one Muslim about another Muslim.
HIS LIPS ARE MOVING.
http://66.34.131.5/ISLAM/nuh/adab_of_islam.htm In Islam it's OK to lie when> (17)It is unlawful to lie, except when making up between two people, or lying to an enemy in war, or to ones wife. It is also unlawful to praise or blame another with an untruth. The Prophet (Allah bless him and give him peace) said, Lying is wrong, except in three things: the lie of a man to his wife to make her content with him; a lie in war, for war is deception; or a lie to settle trouble between people (Ahmad, 6.459. H). Ibn Jawzi has said, The criterion for it is that every praiseworthy objective in Sacred Law that cannot be brought about without lying is permissible to lie for if the objective is permissible, and obligatory to lie for if the objective is obligatory. When lying is the only way to attain ones right, one may lie about oneself or another, provided it does not harm the other. And it is obligatory to lie to if necessary to protect a Muslim from being murdered. But whenever one can accomplish the objective by words that merely give a misleading impression with actually being false, it is unlawful to tell an outright lie, because it is unnecessary.

Straight from the horse's mouth.
That's the absolute truth...when they're confronted with their lie, they don't even blink...they just go right into the next one. They must have spent alot of time watching the TV performances of the likes of Paul Begala, Lanny Davis et al.
