They probably never investigated, because they knew that the majority of their constituiency doesn't want cuban immigrants comming over. Most republicans, If this incident had been under a republican administration, would have supported sending the kid packing.

You're a liar and an idiot! Most of us wanted Elian to stay because we knew Clinton, et al, were lying to us. Especially when you have to KIDNAP the child at GUNPOINT!!!

Actually, it's the RATs who don't like Cubans. That's because the RAT constituencies like black Americans, Haitians, Jamaicans and Puerto Ricans resent the hell out of Cubans because of their special immigration status and the fact that Cubans far and away have economically out-performed the groups mentioned above. Why, it just ain't fair!

Most republicans, If this incident had been under a republican administration, would have supported sending the kid packing.Republicans don't send anyone back to communist countries. Republicans have a history of encouraging them to come here. Democrats are the ones who aided and abetted every communist dictatorship which ever existed. And you know it.

Well most Republicans I know were horrified by the manner in which that child was taken by those jack-booted thugs on Easter weekend.

I supported sending the kid packing even under a Demwit administration.

If this incident had been under a republican administration, would have supported sending the kid packing. Oh sure ----don't you remember the Russian boy who asked for asylum and Reagan gave it to him? His parents were going back to the Soviet Union, the boy wanted freedom and he got to stay.

I'm an anti- immigration Republican who has been quite vocal in my opposition to certian Bush policies. Had this occured under Bush, I would have been even more outspoken.

Where did you get the info that most Repulicans were for sending Elian back? Here in Ohio I know many Republicans. I remember none felt that Elian should be sent back. In fact all I remember is outrage among Republicans.
Where do you get your ifo?

Why they didn't investigate is neither here nor there, but you comment about most Republicans is utter nonsense.

Most republicans, If this incident had been under a republican administration, would have supported sending the kid packing. You've been registered here for 2 days and you are already telling us what we would have done?
You poor, pathetic, product of a government school, don't you know the Republican policy on refugees from communist countries? Jesse Helms said it best, "once they're on the beach, they're welcome here".
To: KnowYourEnemy
Geeeee! Just got here today huh?? Well, under a Republican administration - we would not have sent the kid packing. We would have given the father asylum too!! So take your stupid opinions and get lost!!! And ... since you're not a Republican - how would you know what we would do!!
