When I drove past the post office this morning, I noticed that the lines of cars already had started forming with those people who had waited until today to send their greetings to the IRS. Hmmmmmm.

A propos, this morning's paper says that uniformed postal employees will be standing in front of the main post office here at midnight, accepting the IRS greeting cards directly from the motorists' hands. Would you happen know how one can get a hold of a postal employee uniform for just one evening? (I've already got a sufficient supply of ink bleach, thank you.)

IT'S A SIGN!

And I can tell you (having forgotten it as 4/15 & needing to buy a roll of stamps today), that the lines inside for people wanting to have their missives to the IRS and Wisconsin Dept. of Revenue weighed & stamped were huge, out-the-door huge. And it's only morning.

Today's the day I feel sorry for postal workers everywhere.
