These would make
outstanding rules for FR posts. They don't need enforcement by the moderators. It would be enough if we would simply ignore people who don't follow them.
Shalom.

Bump!
I know if these suggestions were more common behavior I'd be a lot happier here on FR.
Shalom.

The "Bill of Intellectual Rights" aside, there are only
two things all people need adhere to for a safe, sane world.
1)...Mind your own buisness.
2)... Keep your hands to yourself.

Don't lists like these only trivialize the rights we do have? Ever-increasing rights-talk makes rights look more and more like wish lists rather than sound principles with intellectual foundations. We don't need lists like these, any more than we need lists saying "I have the right to pet my dog" or "I have the right to want a mountain cabin resort with trained flying caribou"

Politically correct feminists bear some of the responsibility for making North America a less civil place in which to live. I don't know anyone who lives in North America. I know folks who live in America, Canada, and Mexico, but North America? Nope.

Why yes they would if FREEREPUBLIC were a LIBERAL website but its not! Its a CONSERVATIVE website Theres nothing wrong with being polite but with these rules it would be laughable opiions sting and suggesttions sometimes are flames and most of the time you gotta quibble with someone or sometimes 2 - 3 people at the same time in heated debate why screw that up over PC suggestions which hold people back from being honest about themselves and others .
