There's one fire in the Okeefenokee, and an island owned by the local pulp mill caught fire, too! While shopping today I also smelled phosgene gas ( formed when freon is burned ) so I suspect another fire involving a house or business with A/C, too....

I talked about this at a couple places I went today, and got the excellent suggestion of calling local VFW halls to see if we can get some more folks. I'll work on that in the next few days.

Yesterday, Miss VC and I attended the LPGA event down in Stockbridge. I had the great pleasure to meet a fellow Georgian, Mrs. Nancy Lopez, who is playing her last year on the LPGA.

I am very excited about participating in my first freep and am willing to donate sign making materials..I.E. white plastic board, cnc routed stencils, ETC...
