I think it's waaaaaay past time for India to wipe these as*holes off the planet. Using the IDF model, they should easily be able to contain and eliminate the immediate as well as short term threat presented by "peaceful" Islam.

The cancer spreads. The Sword of Islam kills innocents. Victims of Islam must destroy all who embrace that theo-fascist cult of death.

If the Hindus retaliate, we'll be reading some sympathetic stories about the innocent Muslims living in India being attacked for no reason by murderous Hindus.

The alternative is to let Osama define the war. As off the mark as your President's statement is, the alternative risks turning hundreds of millions around the world from Osama sympathizers to active supporters, defending Islam as Osama would have liked. I'd rather fight smart.

There may be a perverse truth to this "Islam is Peace" thing - if you submit/surrender without resistance, there will be peace!

Oh, no, don't retaliate. Don't upset the war on the western border.
RReligion of pieces! Nice move on the eve of the US envoy's visit. Wanna see who gets called on to exercise restraint. After all, the Indians would not want to be seen hindering the US War on terror in the west of pakistan. This order to attack comes directly from Musharraf's office; another case of the pakistan military spinning the US envoy around in circles;
"tell the Indians not to attack us otherwise we won't be able to help you, the Americans, our wonderfully gullible and naive friends, in your war against terror. After all, the jihadi scumbags you are attacking are not the same as those brave 'freedom fighters' in Kashmir attacking women and children. After all, islam, prohibits 'unjustified' attacks on 'civilians. PS: we need more money to help you in the war against terror."
There has been a steady drip drip drip of attacks in the past few weeks as the mountain snows have melted. This is a black eye on the Indian security forces. A lethal attack on their own. Time for India, if it ever gets the will and the strategic vision to remove Pakistan from the maps of the world.
Tomorrow, the same scumbags killing indians will be on the other side of pakistan taking aim at Americans.

Pakistan is on its way to extinction or re annexation by India.

Pakistani military leader Pervez Musharraf banned several militant groups after the attack on the Indian parliament, including the two blamed by India for the raid.Yeah, Reuters, how observant of you to not notice he then turned around and released leadership of the same terrorist groups. Remember? Pakistan said it might "need" them in a potential conflict with India, which was bullshit then and bullshit now and has cost these innocent people their lives.
Reuters S****. So does Pakistan and the liar Musharraf.

Yes, it definitely puts some strain on the US-India relationship. We have to somehow pursuade the Indians to hold back everytime, because we need Paki co-operation. That's enough reason for Pakistan to egg these attacks on.
Doesn't look good from an India POV. Imo we need to change this mode of thinking....quickly.

A final caveat needs to be sounded. The American desire to carry its 'war on terrorism' into Pakistani territory is an extension and indeed, continuation of their Afghan campaign. It has nothing to do with the government's own domestic battle against terrorism. Therefore, any unilateral US military action in Pakistan, as hinted by The Washington Post on May 12, would be a disastrous destabilization and severely undermine the government's own anti-terror efforts at home. The minimum quid pro quo for Pakistan's unstinted cooperation to the US 'war on terrorism' is to get the Americans to ask their Indian friends to back off from brinkmanship on the border. India's withdrawing its half a million plus troops would defuse tension and ensure that Pakistan can pursue its campaign against terrorism with single-minded focus.
From today's Nation paper of Pakistan.

Pakistan is on its way to extinction or re annexation by India. Annexation would increase Moslems to a dangerous 30%! And the Moslems in Pakistan seem to be more militant than those in India! As Hitchens suggests, a break up into 4 countries is probably the best outcome.

You are assuming that a post war Pakistan would still have the same population numbers. I think not.
