"I still can't understand how the administration could have known about the attacks when some of the terrorists themselves didn't learn about what they were doing until they were on the planes??"That's the $64 M question, isn't it?
Everybody knows it's all politics. The democrats are extremely worried about the fall elections. Daschle is awfully concerned he won't control the senate come January. Then Bush will get hearings for his judicial appointments. They're scared to death of that.

"Some more mud to throw against the wall. Bush has had more attacks against him for partisan reasons than Clinton had and Clintons wrong doings were real."And what I don't understand is why Mr. Bush cuts the Demos so much slack. They are out to get him, and he treats them like they were ladies and gentlemen. Obviously, he is a gentleman, but enough is enough. Time to get tough.

...said that [the Clinton] administration had been aware of the report but that it "certainly was not a piece of intelligence." What was "not a piece of intelligence" -- the report or the Clinton administration? I'm confused.
