Oh, how I hope this is true come November!!! I prayed so hard for the president and first lady this morning in church. My heart was heavy with the thought of GW having to be without Laura this weekend. And I was so heartened to see that this latest tack by the Dems has, once again, backfired. And the press have been so despicable. Their obvious hatred of GW was on complete display this past week and weekend. I guess since the book BIAS came out, they have decided there is no reason to disguise it any longer. ARRRRRRGHHHHH!!

W leaves for Europe (and Laura) on Wednesday. I will be so happy when they are reunited. I do worry about his safety, however, when he's overseas. The best thing about this entire incident is that the GOP appears to be reunited again. We have seen the enemy and it's not George W. Bush.

These pics are just wonderful. Laura's face shows such emotion and compassion. That pic of her at a Holocaust Memorial (I'm assuming that's what it was) is haunting. And the one with the Hungarian ladies in their costumes is just priceless!!!

Thank you for keeping us up to date on her trip. It will be so good to see them back together later in the week! He needs her strength right now!

Rintense...thank you so much for the Daily Dose. It is such an oasis and a sea of vitriolic blather. I don't think I have been this pissed at the press and the Dems since the election fiasco. Actually, when I really think about it, I am even more pissed. The press has been totally delinquent in their responsiblity. They make me sick.

BTW, everyone, I was at a GOP meeting on Saturday and everyone is totally united behind this president. There was some grumbling about recent legislation that was signed but in light of recent events, all were united in defeating the real enemies this November - the Democrats.

Please pray for me because I live in an apartment bldg in Southern California.I've noticed within the last 5 months or so,middle-eastern people,people I don't remember seeing around here before!Several weeks ago,I saw a young muslim woman(veiled)walking out towards the parking lot.And there was something really strange happened about 3 years ago.3 men knocked on my door and asked me if Hispanics lived in this apartment complex!!! I've thought about a number of times,for one thing they did not look like Hispanics.I've seen enough Hispanics AND middle eastern people in my life to notice the difference in complexion and features.One more thing I've noticed a lot more small airplanes flying around my area.I am in between 2 airports,so I don't know.I hope I'm not getting paranoid!
