I don't see why what Pat says here leads to that conclusion. I am far from a Buchananite, but pointing out it's not good for the country when ethnic groups decide they're going to conspire to use the government to loot the public till for the benefit of their group, and their group alone, isn't necessarily a bad thing.

From a recent thread with a great message, we have this:

I like to consider myself a genuine liberal, believing in limited government, equality of opportunity, equality under the law, pluralism, toleration, constitutionalism, colorblindness, a robust, internationalist foreign policy, sound and equal education, a common culture, etc. Nowadays, that makes you a flaming right-winger. I do not agree with the Brigadiers in many areas but Pat has this right. Minorities fought against this kind of "tyranny" for decades when it was a "conspiracy" of caucasians. Now that they have won the moral and legal battle they immediately slouch into the same behavior they so despised. The road to hell is paved with self-righteous do-gooders.

Why do you toss in the 'race' card, when someone takes exception to the fact that a racist meeting took place aimed at screwing you ( if your an American of European lineage )?
