Pat Buchanan asks, 'Who are they uniting against?'

Well, we know who Pat is uniting against... Americans of African, Asian and Hispanic descent.

#4: "Well, we know who Pat is uniting against... Americans of African, Asian and Hispanic descent."

Spoken like a true leftist RINO.

I don't see why what Pat says here leads to that conclusion. I am far from a Buchananite, but pointing out it's not good for the country when ethnic groups decide they're going to conspire to use the government to loot the public till for the benefit of their group, and their group alone, isn't necessarily a bad thing.

From a recent thread with a great message, we have this:

I like to consider myself a genuine liberal, believing in limited government, equality of opportunity, equality under the law, pluralism, toleration, constitutionalism, colorblindness, a robust, internationalist foreign policy, sound and equal education, a common culture, etc. Nowadays, that makes you a flaming right-winger. But it shouldn't be so.

I think this applies to this caucus.

Well, what was the point of the "caucus"? And you are saying turnabout is not fair play?

You do not have to agree with Pat … but don’t put words into his mouth. He is making an observation about a meeting in Virginia. If you like, you can post your observations about that meeting.

If there were a "Dumbest Quote of the Week" feature on FR, yours would definitely be in its Hall of Fame.

Yeah, lets just ignore the article and attack Mr. Buchanan. Great strategy, good thinking.

AmericaUnited: Well, we know who Pat is uniting against... Americans of African, Asian and Hispanic descent.

I noticed that while they called you lots of names for stating this, no one has disputed your comment above.

Give them heck!

Pointing out that others are excluding a group of citizens, based solely on their race(in this case white), used to be called racism, and the FBI, the New York Times, and the wrath of all Americans were brought to bear against it. It this case, to mention exclusion of race, is to be called racist. The world is turned on its ear.
