This should be reiterated:

James Ziglar was in Tim's hometown announcing that official U.S. policy would be to ignore the word "illegal" in "illegal immigration."
"No one likes the idea that people came into the country illegally, "Ziglar said during a joint press conference with Mexican officials at the Tucson Border Patrol station, "but it's not practical or reasonable to think that you're going to be able to round them all up and send them home."

Evidence is still mounting that B Clinton significantly sold us out to China.
Evidence is mounting that GW Bush is significantly selling us out to Mexico.

The Presidential Oath of Office

The oath to be taken by the president on first entering office is specified in Article II, Section 1, of the Constitution:

I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will faithfully execute the office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my ability, preserve, protect, and defend the Constitution of the United States.

You can fool all those bed-wetting politicians in Washington with the "need for tolerance" but you can't fool kids. They haven't been politicized yet.

I remember in High School, as part of the liberal hypertolerance movement, we were forced to take a class called "Afro-Asian Cultures". We were fed some gruel about "African Kings" and "peaceful, progressive Islam".

The teacher was utterly convinced but us kids knew better, as far as we were concerned, they were all goat molestors.

""No one likes the idea that people came into the country illegally, "Ziglar said during a joint press conference with Mexican officials at the Tucson Border Patrol station, "but it's not practical or reasonable to think that you're going to be able to round them all up and send them home.""

I have had a daydream that goes like this... The Feds make an announcement saying, "On this (date) in three months ahead, all men and women between the ages of 18 & 45, will be required to register with a local draft board. This will be required of citizens and non-citizens alike.

For three months there would be loud discussion and signs of preparation for the coming event. Of course it would never be implimented.

For 3 months it would be interesting to see what the numbers of illegals would bail out of this country if they thought they might get drafted. It might make a good dent in a start to a roundup.

This is just a musing so, don't start any pro/con arguments. I just laugh at the mental image of thousands of illegals heading south at the thought of getting drafted. ;0)

Great Read.

I am 13 and write a column for WND. Many ridicule the notion to allow
the involvement of young people in politics.

I don't know about you, but I believe it must be done in order save this
country. Young people must wake up, smell the coffee, and see reality
before public education brain washes them into liberals.

I think its time for another operation whatchamacallit. Can't remember the name but in took place in the 50's when there was a huge round up and expulsion of illegals. The gubment had them runnin for the border. I hadn't ever heard about such a thing until I saw it on the History channel. Anyone familiar with this operation I am referring to?

It is as if President Bush is trying to please everybody, which he must believe is his ticket to a second term,

Pretty smart "kid." Let's see. Panders to Steelworkers by imposing tariffs. Panders to Cuban-Americans by denouncing free trade with Cuba (but okay to free trade with communist china). Panders to gun-control lobby by saying "no" to guns in the cockpit. Panders to teachers by nearly doubling education spending. Panders to farmers by making them ever dependent on the dole. Etc. Even if Karl Rove is the one recommending these panders, Bush is still responsible since he obviously is not saying "no" to Rove. I'm sure the strategy is to gain more new votes by pandering. The only thing they haven't figured out is whether the number of new voters will more than offset the number of votes lost due to the rampant whoring/pandering/expanding government.

Just because we can't catch every criminal does not mean we're going to reward them. Instead, we should do our best to catch as many illegals as possible and send them back immediately. We don't need more terrorists, drug dealers and other criminals in this country.

Hey Zingler, no one said that you will be able to round up 100%. Or solve 100% of any crime. That does not mean we'll stop fight crime. The guy is delusional or just received a huge bribe.

Bump!

The one thing that I can't stand about Bush at the moment, the amnesty issue. Well that and the fact he hasn't beat the hell outta Ted Kennedy in a fist fight yet.

Paul Harvey said it best, (paraphrase a bit here) "This nation was once a melting pot, but, today, it has become a pressure cooker."
