The first one should be "Wars and rumors of war"...given History it is difficult to narrow that down....but it definitely fits the world today. The second one is translated Ethnos against Ethnos... This means Ethnic groups against Ethnic Groups...another scenario that fits today...strongly. The third....famine is a large part of what is going on in both China and East Asia as well as Africa. The fourth.....Pestilence...is yet to manifest in the way I believe the Word is talking about...I believe it is sooner rather then later.

Has there ever been a time on earth when war, ethnice strife, famine, and pestilence have not all been going on somewhere?

3. Famine -- Third Seal = World Economic Depression-- World war Three will bring the world to experience a economic crash. Millions will starve to death. Many will look to the AC for a supply of food.

(Rev 6:5-6) And when he had opened the third seal, I heard the third beast say, Come and see. And I beheld, and lo a black horse; and he that sat on him had a pair of balances in his hand. {6} And I heard a voice in the midst of the four beasts say, A measure of wheat for a penny, and three measures of barley for a penny; and see thou hurt not the oil and the wine.

This rider represents famine. What is famine? The lack of bread (food). What is the bread of life? The word of God. Can a famine cause a lack of the Word of God? Amos 8:11: "Behold, the days come, saith the Lord GOD, that I will send a famine in the land, not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but of hearing the words of the LORD:" This famine occurs in the end time (Amos 8:2&3). The famine of the end times, that is this time in Revelation, is the lack of the hearing of God's Word.

Exactly. All things considered, the world is rather tame right now compared to most of the last century.

Yes there has always been wars, famine and etc. I think the key to understanding End Time Bible prophecy is by beginning the "End Time" countdown when either Israel became a nation in 1948 and/or when Jersusalem came under Israel contol in 1967. When we think about the Prophecies concerning the End time i.e. War, famine and etc. you almost have to think on a global scale. We have not had that since 1948 and especially 1967. The present "World/Middle East" conflict may bring us to that.

I see religion as rat poison 99 percent sweet cookie 1 percent arsenic,all Western Governments have advisors and soothsayers fully conversant with prophecy,people like Mr Hitler used the restoration of moral values and the defence of christianity as tools to suck in the masses.Britain and the Vatican would of been fully conversant what they were setting up in Israel.If something happens in the world its a manifestation of a decision made by a human.Are you really seeing these things from God or because 'all fear all the time' your being exposed a constant bombardment of programming that leads you in that direction,yes God is up to stuff and no hes probably not happy but I've ticked off up to Matthew 24:15 let alone 24:6 with the pathetic human fulfilment of prophecy with Arafat in conjunction with the Vatican(if one takes the Balfour Declaration the true start of modern Israel the planting of the tree then 'this generation' in my country is dead the last Gallipoli veteran passed away last week.

In all honesty Im not a first century jew,I don't have the Original Aramaic version(in fact the church won't let you see most of the Dead Sea Scrolls)im not privy to the symbolism or mindset of the time and so I cant comment other than the only thing being fulfilled is a further perpetuation of fear by vexing oneself with such studies which would be what those who want you to think,'this is it' would want.

That is...to watch... "....when these things begin to happen, look up for your redemption draws near" (Lk 21). Christians are not to be in the dark as to what happens when the Four Horses of the Apocalypse begin to ride. We are to look for the signs pointing to the near return of Christ.

8000,000 belt buckes saying 'Gott Mitt Uns' seems to indicate to me the local Christians to a large extent went along with him.Hitler wasn't Christian but he certainly used Holy Grail,tuetonic knights and much Christian imagery Mein Kamph had input by by Father Staemple an ex-jesuit,yes Religion was a tool of the Nazi State,wound in with nationalism and patriotism.People generally don't fight very well without 'divine sanction'

I have an opinion about the rapture. I'm not a Revelation expert. It's one of the few books of the Bible that I have not read. I don't understand it, and I don't think I need to.

With that said, I do have one idea about the Rapture. I just keep on wondering if there is a nuclear war, and that is what the rapture is.

So we get a nuclear war that destroys our country and a bunch of other "Christian" countries. The remaining parts of the earth have to figure out who they are for.

Sounds good. Personally, I think we are in the first half of the tribulation now. Midtrib will hit about 2003.5 . With Armagedon about 2007. Why these dates? Well to keep it short, if the clock starts when the Jews regained Jerusalem (1967), with a 40 year generation, that puts you at about 2007. The two main things that need to happen soon are (1) Israel needs to be living securely, (2) Temple rebuilt.

I may be crazy.....but I like it that way :)

People.......I think before you judge others or even just make a single comment about others, to anyone in general, and in which you're not really sure if it is the truth or not, speak not. Speak of the truth and not of hypocrisies.
Look at yourself first. Judge yourself first. Who are you? What are you? For sure you yourself will know the answer....nobody else.


Just a thought; If there's no religion, no countries, no government, no wealth, no poverty, no hate nor pain..........no internet, no TV, no diet food, no Oprah, no CNN or BBC or New York Times........then.............
I think this is a better world.
