What you're saying is that if someone is deceived by Lucifer, it's because he is willing to be deceived by Lucifer. I think you're right. (And I think Lucifer must be something to behold!)
In fact...I'm convinced of it.
That's why I contend that the Islamic terrorists, on some level, know very well that they are not serving God and that they are serving Satan--or Lucifer--or The Devil--or evil--or the Dark Side--or whatever one wants to call it. No matter what they call this "god" they serve, it is evil and not God.
In other words, they are devil-worshippers--and they know it.
As you point out: They are deceived by Lucifer because they are willing to be.
They probably want to be "deceived" by him, because they want his assistance in achieving their worldly aims--a Faustian bargain--which are to avenge their pride hurt by Western imperialism, their own failure to rise above poverty and ignorance, the failure of their "culture", and their insignificance in the world.
Those who allow themselves to be deceived by Lucifer, actually want to, in order to strike a Faustian bargain of one kind or another.
You will agree, I think, that anyone who asks for the guidance and protection of Jesus Christ will receive them and will be safe from any satanic influence. I mean, no matter how crafty Lucifer may be, he is no match for Jesus Christ--unless some hapless fool should be receptive to him. Right?
