I'm not going to discuss that stuff anymore ... if you can't see what's wrong with it by yourself there's nothing I can add ... someone else made the cult notation earlier ... I suggest you take that to them ... I did not pick up the matter but it was addressed to me ... so don't blame me for responding to something I had no interest in, in the first place ...
with regards to Hosea, Salvation is of the Jews ... you'll note the same thing is said to Abraham ... the obvious context is that Israel brings for the Messiah which is made available to all the world ...

wow ... a second reason for me to hit the abuse button

The fact LostTribes, (alleged) cult leader Gene Scott, and some book of shaky and questionable research have all come to the same conclusion, does not in and of itself make that conclusion correct!

Don't run off. We were talking about Hosea, not Abraham. Don't both passages stand on their own? They would have to or you wreak the concept of the Bible. Why not offer your take on the verses of Hosea? Saying that it was reflected in Genesis is hardly an answer.
You contend the information that explains Hosea is wrong. If you can say that with authority, then you must have a counter position to offer, or you are reacting from conditioning, unsure of just how you got your ideas, but positive they are correct, to the point where if another can't just see that they're correct, you just can't explain it.
That, my brother, is conditioning at work, and conditioning is rarely accurate, especially when it's religious or political conditioning, the two most used for social control.
Now, on to Hosea, shall we? Or at least provide some rational basis against the information in question. The two Biblical concepts of 1) God's covenant people will be numberless and 2) Israel and Judah as separate entities will be rejoined alone establishe prima facie evidence in its favor and puts the ball in your court.
You can't insist that there's no ball. What's that in you hands?
. . .the obvious context is that Israel brings for the Messiah which is made available to all the world . . .
You're going to have to rephrase and retransmit the above, hoss, I didn't scan it. The sentences nearby didn't seem to help, either.

I am a student, a republican, and have only set foot in New York twice in my life. Further, your unfounded allegations against me illustrate how insecure you are about yourself and I hope that you get help soon.

do not use the term Jew in a disparaging way or face banning. just a warning.

Not all Jews live in the State of Israel, but it's nonetheless the 'Jewish State'... the gathering together of the House of Judah.
Not all of the Northern Tribes live in one country either, but the country named 'the lands of the covenant' represents the gathering together of the House of Israel.
Q: Which country is Israel's companion?
1. Saudi Arabia
2. Frontierland
3. Oz
4. U.S.
One of the above, like Israel, was peculiarly formed by a gathering out of the nations. Two sticks, Ezekiel 37.

I think Hosea in the right context matches the promise to Abraham perfectly ... if you say "that makes Hosea wrong" is confusing ... dude, do whatever you want with Hosea ...
To: William Terrell
oh one other thing, why were Israel and Judah eventually split and known by the two names? that's the first thing of importance ... and who was the first Jew ...
I'm not sure what is unclear about "the Messiah comes from Israel" ... seems pretty straightforward ... all nations are blessed from Israel ... (potentially)

I've heard that something like over 70% of Russian immigrants were not Jewish. They are productive citizens and Israel would be wise to take them, they need all the help they can get. When I was in Israel I figured I would be the only Christian. But every Christmas, the city lit up and I knew I was not alone.
But Israel will not truly become a Christian nation until someone (we all know who) returns.

How come there have been no Christian suicide bombers? With all the media trying desperately to prove that all fanatics are created equally, I am sure that had there been one it would make the front page for weeks.

I think Hosea in the right context matches the promise to Abraham perfectly ... if you say "that makes Hosea wrong" is confusing ... dude, do whatever you want with Hosea ... I didn't say that makes Hosea wrong. I said the statement that God told Abraham the same thing wasn't an answer to the question, how do you explain Hosea 1:10,11 if losttribes info is wrong? Would you care to take another run at it in light of that clarification?
To: Bobby777
oh one other thing, why were Israel and Judah eventually split and known by the two names? that's the first thing of importance ... and who was the first Jew ... Evidently they couldn't get along. I don't think they were evenly split. The house of Judah had Tribe Judah, maybe all of Tribe Benjamin and some parts of Tribe Levi. The House of Israel had the rest. I doubt any one individual was "the first Jew".
I'm not sure what is unclear about "the Messiah comes from Israel" ... seems pretty straightforward ... all nations are blessed from Israel ... (potentially)
Israel is not the small country in the Lands of Sands. Israel is the twelve tribes of the sons of Israel, of which Judah is but one tribe plus parts of others. The Messiah did come from Israel, that is to say, one tribe of Israel, Judah. Or maybe Benjamin or Levi, this is unclear, but the House of Judah, certainly.

Exactly. I thought I was the only one left who thought that. Isn't it strange that Eisenhower became president and is a national hero (and rightfully so) but Patton is buried in Europe (Belgium if I'm not mistaken). If it wasn't for the movie Patton would be a virtual unknown to people who don't read about WWII.
