I followed the link and read the article from the Post web site, so I saw the picture of the perp. But reading just the text of the article as posted here or on the Post web site, can anyone find any mention of this man's race, creed, color, religion, or sexual preference? I couldn't. Wonder why that is? Has PC attacked the Post now? I know that if the races had been reversed, no media outlet would have missed the opportunity to bash the WHITE gunman. The papers would have villified the WHITE gunman for his HATE CRIME. There would have been no mention of anything in the WHITE man's life that could have been used to mitigate the circumstances. And it would have certainly been pointed out that all but one of the people who were injured were women, thus doubling the hate crime charges. Am I the only one offended by this double standard?

Something else that struck me was the fact that the article mentions window bars and no exit through the rear of the establishment. The perp doused some patrons with kerosene and was fliccing his Bic.

This reminds me of the fire at the illegal and window-barred Chinese cyber cafe where many perished because of no way out.

Wonder if there's ever any fire inspection at these joints in NYC. This incident had the potential for a fiery holocaust.
