Is Davis going to make an appeal?
To: CPI News
It will be interesting to see how the liberal mainstream media reacts to this and how much ink they give to it. When the original ruling came down it was front page news. Lets see what kind of play this reversal gets. I agree the damage has been done. Explaining all this to the general public will not be easy. Davis had scads of ads on every day pointing out details of the original ruling. The Simon campaign has got to get its act together and an agressive hard hitting ad campaign.

The San Jose Mercury news as of 3:00 PM today
does not have the Simon reversal listed in its
"Breaking News" section. (Why am I not surprised.)

The two stories that the SJMN do seem to be peddling are
the Barry Bonds homer #73 baseball decision going to a trial jury,
and the decision by the prosecutor to let Oakland Raider football player Darryl Russell off the
hook for a rape charge (filed 2:58PM).
Their national politics section seems a day out of date
http://www.bayarea.com/mld/mercurynews/news/politics/
and says only that the Simon lawyers are urging the judge
to throw out the case.
