NPR: "Was Wellstone Murdered?"
NPR Radio | 10/25/02

Posted on 10/25/2002 1:39:36 PM PDT by pabianice

Just heard on NPR -- two Liberals discussing the possibility that the crash of Wellstone's plane was caused by political enemies; i.e. Evil Republicans/Conservatives.

What truly excreble people.

Did you guys ever see the clip when Norm McDonald was on the View, and said that Clinton killed a couple guys? Everyone was about shocked out of their seat, and said surely you must be kidding, McDonald, goes "no really, he killed a couple of guys in Mena, Arkansas." They went to a commercial, and Norm never came back.

It's called projection. I suspect the DNC pulled a Carnahan on Wellstone, because they thought that would improve their chances of holding the MN seat. Unfortunately, the Republicans will not have the cojones to tell the American people the DemocRATs have become a criminal enterprise.

Sure....I remember how they commentators talked when the prop came off of Sen Inhofe's plane...what? ...they ignored it....OH.

I thought of this today, too!

I think we have just had confirmation of our suspicions about why Torch pulled out.

Like, say... Edward Kennedy? Oops! Bad example. He was rumored to have been on that plane, at first!

I had heard that but the plane couldn't have lifted off the ground if he had been on it....if he were on it there wouldn't have been a plane crash, but I heard he was in MN.

There are certain members of the socialist left that would do ANYTHING to hang on to control of the Senate.

That strikes me as a severe disincentive against becoming a DemocRAT member of the Senate.

I heard on the radio that Wellstone was flying to the funeral of the father of a political associate. Can we be sure that father died a natural death?

Heard the plane was being landed remote control

Lessee here ... was it Art Bell, Alex Jones or the fully discredited michael redvero who proposed that whacked-out scenario?

I doubt a sympathy vote can have as much an impact. There aren't family members qualified to take his place. Without a family member, I would be surprised to see a sympathy vote go far. Then again, I could be wrong. We will see November 5.

Morons - he was getting beat - the only ones who stood to win by his removal were the dims a la Torricelli in NJ. Oh, wait that's the logical answer. Never mind.

So now you've gone from defending Mohammedans to defending NPR?

"Was Buddy Holly murdered? Was Otis Redding murdered?"

Yes, and Bush was responsible. Hadn't you heard?

Yes, we will see. I expect a sympathy vote to do quite well. Expect to see lots of PR lines about "carrying the torch" of Wellstone and "keeping the faith". It doesn't really even matter who the replacement candidate is, as long as he "promises to remain faithful to the ideals of our departed Senator", the TV commercials will jerk tears out of the eyes of many voters.

Watching the people speaking at the briefing on the plane crash, who look and sound terrified, and the look of the people behind them at the scene, (and the FBI involvement instead of the NTSB like TWA 800) I'd say the hillbilly bandits have another body added to their count

Actually, I was thinking that it would be more likely for a Democrat to have sabotaged the plane so that they could pull another last minute switch. If were Jean Carnahan, I wouldn't be riding on any airplanes.

The hillbilly bandits want to not only preserve the Dem control of the Senate, but to replace a semiprincipled leftist with another one of the Clintonista crooks.

See post #3.

If you don't think such things happen, then you are extremely naive.

And yes - Republicans are capable of it too.

At the moment, I can't see a motive, though.
