I believe in the Eucharist,because Our Lord said:"THIS IS MY BODY and taking the goodly chalice in His Hands,said:THIS IS MY BLOOD."(Not this is a symbol).His word is good enough for me!

If you read John 6 I don't see how you can argue with this. Besides, this was the practice of the ancient Church –of those Christians who lived nearest in time to Christ.

May God be merciful to Cardinal Mahony and bless him, give him the Light of God's face, and keep him in peace.
May St. Catherine of Siena intercede for him, and may the Lord Jesus Christ of his great and divine mercy visit Cardinal Mahony with His healing presence and the light of truth and peace.

It can mean death. It is not uncommon to have such after surgery, but I don't believe he has had surgery since the prostate surgery. I pray for Cardinal Mahony a complete healing in body, mind and spirit.
